Hopefully you will have better coordinators then I had. If not get family members to take control of it and sit back and enjoy your day.
One of my friends does travel and event planning on the side, so she's volunteered to be my TA *and* help keep my day running smoothly. I'm sooo grateful that I'll have her there with me! Congratulations on becoming a Mrs!

Wow, what a great review! I thought about getting married on the cruise ship but I'm so worried about things being too non-personal or that I'll end up with someone so rude it would ruin my day which I definitely don't want because once I'm in a mood it takes a bit to snap out of it. I am getting married on the beach at one of the ports...but I keep toying with the idea of an onboard wedding. Who knows...until I have a definite on who we'll choose in the end it's still a chance... lol Thanks for the insight and the great tip, you're certainly right about all you said!!

Dee it was hard not to snap and just start going BRIDEZILLA on them, because honestly if I wasn't wearing a veil and tiara I would have seriously told them where to go and how to get there but since I somewhat needed them I was trying to be nice.

And for some reason I hated the thought of people thinking wow look at that lady she is a total bridezilla. (ha, ha)

I'm just glad my family was there to pick up the slack.

Best of luck to you!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
