If you are giving one bag per couple are you putting more stuff in for them? Two of some things for each? I am having trouble finding things for guys but I figure as long as I have some snacks for them they will be happy. Do they even care about the OOT bags anyways? My mom seems to think they don't!

I am not sure that they really do..... the beer koozies I think the men will like, but most of the stuff will be for the girls (I thin it just happens that way) I did put a lot of stuff in mine, so I think they will enjoy them though

I have a question too..
How early are you ordering the items for your bags?
There's still a question on the number of people coming.. should I just estimate and order now? The weddings in 4 months.

No need to freak out, but my wedding is a week after yours and I'm almost done with my bags...lol just kiddding don't worry I still need to find invites, have my dress altered, find Matt's suit and about a zillion other things!

Because our resort was booking up fast for October, I "bugged" all my guests that were thinking about coming into booking.. I used The Knot to keep track of my guest list and even though I don't have formal invites, I pretty much know who is and isn't coming. I then bought 5 or 6 bags over what I think I may need.. If we have extras we're going to give them to friends from WI who weren't able to join us next summer when we go for an informal picture viewing.

If you're ordering things like custom printed items (koozies, etc) I wouldn't wait too long. They don't take a long time, but you don't want to be biting your nails wondering if what you paid for is going to show up before you leave. You'll also want some sort of idea of how much stuff you're going to have to bring so you can "borrow" space in friends/family's bags if necessary.

It's a good idea to flag items you're interested either in a word doc or I created a folder structure on my desktop.. then when things go on sale you can purchase or put together a semi-final list of what you'd like to include..that way you aren't overbuying or getting junk that you regret later.

I ordered my bags early too - and just estimated on who I thought was coming. I ended up being pretty close - but we do have a few extra bags.

As for the kids bags - I put some water toys, bubbles, we made a coloring book, crayons, a "flowergirl" custom tank top for the girls, stickers, etc. - just random junk.

The guys liked the koozies (though no one really used them during vacation), lip balm, sun screen, aloe, and some of the meds I put in there - advil, pepto, etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
