Hi Everyone! Any ideas for some group excursions and/or activities for our guests? We'd like to include a note in the OOT bags with info about the wedding and an itinerary with a few group excursions and activities. Thanks in advance.

      Queena -

A few excursions I have enjoyed:
      1. Hidden Worlds- zip lines and norkeling in cenotes. This was #1 on trip advisor.
      2. Swim with dolphins - Dreams Cancun has a great program!!
      3. Tulum ruin - a close way to see the Mayan culture
      4. Chichen Itza - - It's a full day excusion but really awesome!

I have found a few others, like sailing excusions, by researching on trip advisor. Happy planning!!

We did the swimming with the dolphins and loved it!
We also did horseback riding in the jungle and along the beach.. very pretty!

Last time we vacationed there we did an excursion which was a 1/2 day at the ruins at Tulum and the second 1/2 of the day was spent at Xel-Ha snorkeling/water park which also has a Dolphin swim for those who were interested. It was great fun and everyone in our group really enjoyed it.
For our wedding in May 2010 we are going to charter a catamaran for a 4 hour sail/snorkeling adventure. Open bar and sandwiches/snacks options are available as well. Rates were not too bad, depending on how many people are in your group. I believe the name of the company we looked into was Paradise Catamarans...though it would be a good way for everyone to get together after the wedding and relax before different members of our group start to head for home...

Take a look at XCaret. My family went last summer when they were in Mexico and loved it so much they went back a second day. I plan on doing this as a group outing

I plan a catamaran sail like MObride. I think it's a great way to have an excursion with all of your guests, all ages. I haven't chose a company yet but will as we get closer to our wedding.
