Hi everyone..I need help/suggestions with what info to put in my passport invites. My wedding will be in Jamaica. I have the design set and the first page spread but from there I'm lost. I notice everyone has but info on the country, map, weather, passport details but every single on of my wedding guests are Jamaican expats so this info is useless because they know all of this. Is there anything creative anyone I can suggest to put in?

Thanks!!!!!

I got this from another board:

Resort Information/Booking

Local Activities

What to pack or Wedding Dress Code

Daily group activities

An “about us” or “how we met” page

Travel Agent information

Travel Tips

Ground Transfer Info

Rehearsal Info

Wedding Day Info

Reception Info

Welcome Dinner

Hope this helps

I'm making boarding pass invitations myself. I'm slightly worried how my old skool relatives will take it...but I think they will be great!

"I figured if the old skoolers will always find SOMETHING..ANYTHING to talk about so run with it and make myself happy!"

how true!!

With regards to the travel agent..some say they will use their own, others say they are going to wait to book, and there are a few that are calling me with travel questions even though I've directed them to the travel agent..can't winwacko.gif

Either way, I've provided the travel agent details on our website and invitations and advise guests to ultilize her if you wish and if you don't, let us know in the rsvp so we can include them in the overall headcount.

From others that I have seen, how about one page about groom, one page about bride and then one page as a couple. Including personal tidbits and baby photos for individual page and then engagment pic for couple's one. I am attempting to do the passport invites for the AHR. Have you found any passort looking paper for the inside? or are you using just solid?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
