Thank you for all of the great ideas!!
The candles are so pretty! I did get a laugh at the hair on fire!!!
I also like the shell idea!! Those look simple and easy to do!

Look on etsy, its a great place for ideas even if you want to DIY instead of buying from there. I was just on there today looking around and saw a bunch of place card ideas. Like these.

I am definitely doing these, I think I'll do them myself though. Between my mother and I, I know we can come up with enough corks in 10 months These are from seller Gallery360.

If you liked that candle idea, this etsy seller makes the vellum wraps for the votive holders for you. Seller called BesoDesigns.

We actually just got card stock and folded ours. On each table we had a different picture of our dog and the name cards corresponded to the picture on the table

It was a fun way to incorporate our dog Chesdin since he obviously couldnt be there

What about marracas with the name tied to it? I've seen some other brides on here do it, super cute

I was thinking of tying guest's names to large finger starfish with ribbon and standing them up on a tray filled with sand... I have yet to find the starfish though! With under 3 months to go, I better get a move on!! lol

I am planning on using pebbles from the beach with the guests' names on them. Here in the UK, we don't have escort cards (I've learnt a lot from watching Four Weddings USA!) rather we have a large table plan with the table name/number and a list of the people sitting on it. It's becoming a lot more popular to give names to the tables rather than numbers, so we are going with local beaches from our destination.

Really love the candles.  Just not sure about transporting all those votives down there?

also really like the shells with the cards.

I was considering the umbrellas and someone pointed out they might blow away.  Have decide how to weigh them down.
