Suggestions on a HHI House?

Ok, ladies I need some assistance in the Hilton Head area. I'm planning a small wedding (30 guests) and would like to rent a house for the wedding weekend. Not all the guests would be staying in the house, just the wedding party (need 6 bedrooms). I'd like to have the ceremony on the beach, and then just walk up to the house for the reception.

 

Any ideas? The one vacation rental I fell in love with online does not allow wedding receptions. (No sure how they would know, but my FI spilled the beans already!) The house owner was concerned that our party would be larger than 30. Not possible. We're coming from Ohio, Indiana, TX, Chicago, AZ, and CA, but we don't know anyone in SC. Not likely we'll have any wedding crashers!

 

Just wondering if there are any local gals on this forum who can make a suggestion, or any brides who have had luck renting a house in the area. I appreciate any help you can offer!!

I am not a local, but we do vacation on HHI sometimes & my first stop to look for rentals (anywhere for that matter) is VRBO is Vacation Rentals By Owner. I'm not sure if you've tried this site, but they are actually rentals by owner & usually you can get a better deal than through a rental agency b/c you cut out the middle man. Also, b/c you're dealing with the owners directly they might be more lenient on the rules of having a wedding on the property. Just a thought; good luck in your search!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
