i've just booked an appointment for Sat at a local wedding dress shop, to try some more on. i might realise i don't like them and go for my dress, but we'll see!

this is my dress, but in a light lemon. http://www.society-brides.co.uk/imag...sley/1099a.jpg it's very plain. i mean it was exactly what i wanted, but im changing my mind!

i LOVE that, really really pretty! it's beautiful!

what kind of veil are you having?

i wasn't going to have a veil but now you've got me thinking! i was just going to have fresh flowers in my hair. would a cream veil clash with a lemon dress? would i need a lemon birdcage veil?

a lemon birdcage veil would be sooo amazing..if that is a style that suits you. wow!!

im pretty undecided about a veil right now. i was going to just do a flower, but my mom thinks that a veil would really make me feel like a bride since my dress is so plain. ill try some on and see...

Janelley - are you using Del Sol? I emailed them and they told me they are no longer excepting bookings at MP!!! Same with Claudia Rodriguez.

I'm still working on finding an outside photographer!!!

Woodsylou...a lemon viel would be STUNNING! Especially if you could find something Navy blue to put on the side. Look on Etsy.com. There are several makers of birdcage veils that will custom one for you. I bet they could get you hooked up. I have seen some beautiful ones with a small peacock feather (jus tthe round center part) as the corner piece of the veil - where it attached to the head piece. If you could find something like broach or....just something really classy in Navy blue to use against the lemon....WOW would that be stunning. Look at the pics on Etsy to get some ideas.

PS - I put my dress in my soon to be mother-in-laws closet for a few months. I figured if I had a chance to look at it over and over again I would most certainly find flaws with it. So I put it out of sight - out of mind for a while. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
