I am totally there with you Tricia. Please don't take offense to this brides who are getting married in 6+ months because at your 2 month mark you will feel the same way.
I am so pissed off that they are even talking with people whos wedding are 3 or more months away and giving them the chance to book because it screws the people who wait and follow the rules out of the process-- they should send them back emails that say-- we will put your request on file and contact you at your 3 month mark. So now we are less than 50 days away and we can't get any help or answers because they don't have time!! WTF? Tricia the new brides have NOTHING about only getting credit if they use the moon palace-- so talk to your travel agent and tell her to start pushing them to give you your cocktail hour and stuff. I am in fighting mode now!!

I would definitely be arguing your free cocktail hour - as per their website , you def. meet the requirements !! I can't believe they're making you do your own boutonneires?!! That's crazy - you're saving them the $ of the bouquet for heaven's sake !!
It's very exciting to read the great reviews (Cutsierosie and mrseddy) but then you're quickly shaken back to reality with your own plans

I feel for each of you brides who are working through the hurdles at the last minute. It seems as if they are just completely understaffed for the number of weddings they take on. I understand that for most everything is beautiful and wonderful once you get there, but there should be a better, more structured and sound process for how they deal with each bride from 12 months to 2 days away. I agree that what is good for one should be good for all...and therefore to read that brides that are over 6 months away (sometimes a year away) are getting locations and details confirmed has got to be frustrating when you are only a couple months or weeks away and getting the run around.

Hang in there and know in the back of your mind that all will be as you dreamed once you get there...I know that is easier said than done...this coming from a bride that is reading your frustrations and knowing I will be in the same boat as you in 3 or so months...as I too have waited! :)

Good luck to each of you!
              Chelle

Thanks for the support ladies! I promise you when I get back I will do a very long, picture heavy and honest and through review for you all!
I did get them to agree to use my own ceremony wording- thiers is SUPER, SUPER religious and they will tell you that you have to use theirs.
I am bringing my own hairstylist and photographers- so won't be able to give you a review on that.
My best advice- have everything ready to go when they contact you and bombard them with the questions because it takes a LONG time to get responses (unless you become a royal bit@h) and then they seem to actually get back to you if you throw a temper tantrum (I'm up to 2 of them already and working quickly on my third!)

The Symbolic ceremony is SUPER religious ?? OMgosh....I wasn't prepared for that!! If that's the case , that's 1 more thing I have to do and 1 more thing I'll have to fight for too. Have you seen their script??

Hi ladies, thanks for the kind words. I was just feeling the pressure a little too much yesterday. However, I did get a very quick reply (less than 24 hrs.) to my email that I sent them telling them how disappointed I have been with my experiences with them so far. I now have been told that I can submit a script they just can't guarantee that it is going to be spoken clearly as the "minister's native tongue isn't English." I've never attached a document before so I will attempt to attach the script that they have given me. I just wasn't crazy about it. Some parts are ok, but others I don't really like and I didn't like the vows. And yes, it is religious. I can also have my welcome dinner at the place I wanted, which I am very happy about. For some reason, I just really wanted this place and when they told me I couldn't have it I was not a happy camper.

Ok, I couldn't do an attachment so I will include it here. Sorry for the long post...

This ceremony commences with the holy word of God
For this special occasion I have chosen, Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image,
In the image of God created he them.

And God blessed them, and said unto them,
Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.

Dearly Beloved, We are gathered together here today in the sign of God, and in the face of this company- to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony.

We are here today- before God- because marriage is one of his most sacred wishes- to witness the joining in marriage of _________and__________. This occasion marks the celebration of love and commitment with which this man and this woman have their life together. And now- through me- He joins you together in one of the holiest bonds.

                    Opening prayer:

                    God,

For the joy of this occasion we thank you. For the significance of this wedding day we thank you. For this important moment in an ever growing relationship we thank you. For your presence here and now and for your presence at all times, we thank you. In Jesus’ holy name.

                    Amen.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another

                    (John 13:34)

                    The description of love is in 1 Corinthians 13;

Love is patient, love is kind. It dose not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always’ perseveres. Love never fails.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

And now we will exchange the wedding vows.

_____, as an expression of love, would you please look at ____eyes and repeat the vows after me?
I_______, take the___________, to be my wife.
                    To have and to hold,
                    In sickness and in health,
                    For richer or for poorer,
And I promise my love to you forevermore.

And now______, would you please look into ____eyes and repeat after me?
I_______, take the ___________, to be my husband.
                    To have and to hold,
                    In sickness and in health,
                    For richer or for poorer,
And I promise my love to you forevermore.

And now we will seal this pact by the giving and receiving of the rings.
_____, would you please set the ring in _______ finger and repeat after me:
____ receive this ring as a symbol of my life and love that I am giving you in this pact of love.
___, would you please set the ring in _____finger and repeat after me:
____ receive this ring as a symbol of my life and love that I am giving you in this pact of love.

                    Closing prayer:
                    Dear God,
Give your blessings to this marriage and seal the commitment of _____ and ______ with your divine love. And join them with your holy spirit; assure them of your eternal presence. In Jesus’ holy name

                    Amen.

And now because you have exchanged before us, your promises of eternal love and in our presence have exchanged symbols which make this pact viable by the power conferred in me, pronounce you as husband and wife.

_______, you may kiss the bride.
Ladies and Gentlemen it is my honor to introduce you Mr. and Mrs._________! !
                    Congratulations!
