The only added cost is if you add lobster or filet mignon, which I don't think is worth it, since you are at a all-inclusive resort.

I am pretty much done with planning! YAY! :-) Now its just the waiting period and EXERCISING!!! I can't believe I only have a few more months! Ladies, it sure does go quick!
Thank you thank you. I believe mine will be buffet since we are outdoors! I have to ask how I can choose. My WC gave me a huge menu. Not sure if i can switch thngs on the menu though.

Wow June 19th is just around the corner!!!

Are you doing OOT bags? IF so what did you put in them?

Are you bringing anything extra with you?

I just got my sample sashes. I plan on bringing them.

What is your color scheme? Who is your DJ? and Photographer?

I think from now on I am going to take it easy. I am constantly stressing things....I am stressing about school...my job... and we are about to purchase a house. So if I can be less stressed with the planning and know that when we get there everything will work out..it will really help me out!!

It can be so stressful, I can't believe you are about to buy a house on top of all this. Good luck with the home purchase.

How early did everyone start contacting their wedding coordinator? Mine said she would not be available until April due to attending weddings on site from Jan-April. I don't know how much of it I can start planning now...

Kalena is my onsite wedding coordinator. Maribel was the assistant. She did a great job in passing over all information to Kalena. Maribel totally handed me over to Kalena on Feb. 24th. (I had to go back and look). The next week Kalena sent me the official letter of Welcome. So it was about 3 1/2 months of working directly with the actual wedding coordinator in advance. Yesterday, she called me which helped A LOT (to clear up some things). Her english is a lot better over the phone than in an email.

This is a lot of helpful links on the OOT bags. Thanks so much!

For your photographer, do you have to get a room or are you able to do a day pass?

I cant believe it, i emailed my WC, Cristina, 4 weeks ago with basic questions trying to book the evening meal and how many songs for the ceremony etc I will need and I still havent had an email back. Yet some of you have your restaurants booked, menus choosen, cake favour and decorations picked, the lot. We fly out in 7 weeks time. i'm getting so peeved. I know loads of people are saying it works out once you get there but coming from the UK I really feel like im going into this blind. i'm only getting married once and I want to minimise the 'what ifs' and have time to organise alternatives. i've already been stung once with the bouquets and only found that out by sear luck and was able to get some real touch flowers which will be ready in time. lord give me patience.....

Sure no problem anything I can do to Help! Because this site has helped me sooo much!

I believe that Moon Palace does not allow for outside vendors unless they are staying on resort property from what I have read on this site. TAMMS photos will be staying on the resort property with us for two nights however, since we have to pay for them they gave a really big discount on the photography to make the room cost reasonable. However the upside is that they can take pictures outside of the wedding time. They will be at our welcome dinner taking professional pictures. Also the price includes an additional wedding shoot either the day before your wedding or the day after.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
