How many guests are you having? And where did you order them from? how much were they?

One person told me 90 cups. I feel like that is soo much and it will be expensive.

I ordered from Fly Boy Naturals - buy 30, get 30 free - my order was 52.99 plus shipping. Depending on the colour/blend you get, they often have specials.

I decided to pick and choose from the plated menu, we are having:

Hors D'Oeurres:

-Worldwide Hors D'Oeurres

Appetizer:

-Tender spinaches with lettuce and goat cheese, pear and candied nuts

Entre:

-Turf and Turf/Beef medallion and chicken breast in a cabenet and cilantro sauce served with potato and vegetables

-Dessert:

Creeme Brulee with the Black and White Chocolate Strip and wedding cake

I was so excited that with the new menu the Turf/Turf is no longer an added fee of $6.00. You can pick and choose what you like. I wanted to do the lobster station but it is $25.00 a person, YIKES!!!! Way too expensive.

If you don't have this, I have attached the latest menu at Moon Palace.

My reception is indoors in the Jupiter Ballroom on the Sunrise side. Inside you can have either plated or buffet. Either way there is no additional cost.

The only added cost is if you add lobster or filet mignon, which I don't think is worth it, since you are at a all-inclusive resort.

I am pretty much done with planning! YAY! :-) Now its just the waiting period and EXERCISING!!! I can't believe I only have a few more months! Ladies, it sure does go quick!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
