Hi ladies.  I'm new to this website.  I am planning on getting married at MP on 10/1/2011.  I just got my contract and was assigned Janina Mendoza as my WC in Miami.   After reading all the posts about the WC I'm wondering if I should be working through a TA instead.   I have about 30-40 guests coming from the US and UK for the wedding.   I have a few days before I need to sign the contract, so I'm trying to decide what is the best way to move forward.

Any advice would helpful........

My advice is to try to get a TA. The ladies that run this site are apparently amazing and have lots of experience working with Palace Resorts. That way you'll have someone to fight your battles rolleyes.gif There's no benefit to working directly with Palace Resorts. You'll still have to communicate with the WC for your wedding arrangements, but at least you won't have the hassle of travel arrangements too.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks for your help...I don't have that many guest, but my TA did tell me to consider transporting everything. We have a Family room booked for our 2 kids...so Hopefully that room is big enough!

Thanks again for your feedback! Congrats!smile159.gif

I am worried the room is going to be to small to have my family in there with me getting ready?

HELP!

Put the entire song on the CD. When you meet with your WC when you arrive she has pieces of papers you can fill out with the song, track #, and at what part it should be played at. They have it all set up and play the songs for you. We only burned 4 songs. Guests, bridal party, me, and then the song at the end, It tuned out perfect.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
