Have a wonderful time!
thats awesome news! i hope it is the same for us this coming week!

Just a quick update.....don't any of you wory one bit about weather. I so worried about the weather showing thunderstorms and such....and I will say that it has rained almost every day since we've been here...but only for like 10-20 minutes and that's it! The rain is actually kind of a blessing as it cools the temp off a few notches!!!

The wedding was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad we came here. THere are definitely pro's and con's to every resort you go to and I will cover my opinions of MP in my review. Just things that I wish I would have known ahead of time...maybe just relaxing my expectations some. I am easy going and that has helped alot...but I could see how a very uptight and perfectionist bride would be stressed out by some of the stuff that happens. This comment should in no way worry anyone...this place was fabulous! You will see!

FOr those leaving shortly before my review....remember to bring sunscreen....lots of sunscreen!!! THe cloud cover makes for easy burns!!! ANd as long as the wind is blowing the mosquitos aren't here....but if the wind settles make sure you have some bug lotion as they do come out and bite. I have about 10 bites...but I am usually the one who gets bit anyhow. Sweet blood I suppose! wink.gif Also, my guests LOVED LOVED LOVED the pashminas! It is cold in the buses and anything indoors...especially if you get a sunburn. Nice to have a wrap. Collared shirts are a must for guys for some restaurants so don't forget them.

And the phamacies in town are cheap if you need anything to take back! wink.gif Just kidding...sort of!

Take care all. GOtta head to last dinner with the family. Will be back in states Wednesday and promise to do review shortly thereafter!

Buenos Noches!!!

Chelle

I got mine from wedding paper divas. Invitations weren't high on my importance list.... I skipped save the dates and just sent invites with our website at the bottom about 9 months in advance. I spent around 100. There are a lot of diy invite threads if you search the forums.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
