Hello!

Ok for all you past beach wedding brides.. how did you have your bridal party walk in. I have an uneven amount. More girls than guys. So I was planning on having one guy walk in with two girls, but I am not sure if the isle is wide enough for three...any suggestions!!??

-Photographer I need to make a list of pictures I want to have.. anyone regret not having a certain picture? Just curious!

Thanks girls...

I have the same issue as well with having more bridesmaids, than groomsman. From previous weddings I have been in, most have had the bridesmaids walk in by ourselves and leave with a groomsman. This is what I intend to do and just have the bestman leave with both of my matrons of honor (I have two sisters thus two matron's of honor).

I have been in weddings were I have walked down with a groomsman as well, however, in this situation, there were even number. But the best man waited with the Groom at the alter so the Maid of Honor walked down by herself and left with the Best Man. If you did it this way, it would create a bigger problem with numbers as well or you could have to two bridesmaid escort each other? Maybe your WC will have some suggestions regarding this as she has probably come across it before.

Are you doing a rehearsal? I plan to do one but my concern is how long it will take, I don't want to take up everyone's day and time enjoying their vacation.

Hello Everyone!

Overall Experience A

I can not to begin to tell you how perfect our wedding was. I was so nervous about everything coming together but finally I just had to let go and just hand over everything to my wedding planner and she did a terrific job. My wedding was better than I ever expected and everyone had a great time.

Wedding Coordinator A+++

Our wedding coordinator was Cristina Suarez. She did a fabulous job. From the very beginning of starting planning with her she was ahead of the game. I did get agitated once because I requested pictures of gazebos and she told me she already picked the location. After a lot of thought I decided to really just go with what she said because she has done it a bunch. So I did! From that point I didnt get stress out about any of the details and really did most of the planning when I got there. During our first meeting with her we went down a check list and I said yes or no and picked out everything. It was stress free which I needed trying to graduate college and plan a wedding. After that meeting I really didnt see Christina until the day of the wedding when she brought me my flowers. She was really great and went above my expectations.

The Resort B

This is a tough one. The resort was absolutley beautiful but it was empty. I believe they said it was at 25% capacity when we were there. They seemed to keep the grounds neat but some areas could use updated. (If we didnt go to the El Dorado on our Honeymoon- which was awesome!!! than Im not sure I would say that) Everyone that worked there was so kind and helpful. Anything you needed they would make it happen. The beach was ok (lots of seaweed..but not bad) Still very pretty. I dont think I stepped foot on the beach the entire time until we took pictures..the pools are so nice you dont even think about it.

ok...Well I am sorry guys but thats all I can write right now. I have to go back to work. I will write a little at a time because my schedule is so limited. I will leave you with this until next time..My pictures turned out better than expected...wonderful!!!1. The flowers were awesome just what I wanted and more and we only spent about an aditional $1500 and had an awesome reception and wedding.

I will also try to get my pictures loaded for next time. I hope everyone is having a good week and I will update soon!

-Jenna

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
