Wedding co-ordinator Lily has been fab...we were booked for the Bug..gazebo and terrace, but we preferred the tucan once we saw them, and she changed no bother. We have also managed to get a gorgeous terrace area right outside our room (moon grand) right on the beach - couldn't ask for more!

The food is crazy amazing - we have been having room service during the day, cheese burgers are soo good - coming from a girl who only eats mcd's burgers generally thats a big deal! Breakfasts in bed - pancakes...and they have these hash browns with cheese in them...OMG...i did intent on eating fruit all week but its just been too hard...hope the dress still fits!

Miami Vice cocktails are soo yummy....we had our rehearsal dinner at the arceffices (spelling sorry, i'm too chilled to do a search for correct spelling) and it was sooo good - everyone tried bits of everything, I stuck to the chicken which was AMAZING and i'd happily go there every night for dinner!

Occupancy isn't very high, so we're getting spoilt rotten...spending time at nicuz and moon grand...padded sunloungers are the way to go!

staff couldn't do anything more for us...we are moving to le blanc on saturday and i'm actually really sad about it....moon palace rocks! :)

Congrats Mrs. D... I cant wait for the review. I am happy everything is going smoothly for u and hubby.

If you are booked for at least 3 days you get $150 toward the spa, 5 or more days you get $300 toward the spa. I cannot wait for my massage!

$300 sounds much better than the original $50. Is that $300 per room and not per person? The spa coordinator gave me a list of their services and everything in there is at last over $100.

Yep, it's $300 per room. At their prices, it won't take long to spend the $300.

I am so glad to hear this! We chose a beach wedding and were a little regretful when we heard the beach wasnt the best. But now this relieves me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
