For all those who are getting group benefits for a group contract:

Did you have to book all your rooms within a certain time frame?? My TA today told me 72 hours which I would find so hard to get my guests to do by! (you know how some of them will drag there feet). I was hoping I'd at least have a month or two.

I really want the freebies but have no idea how group contracts through palace resorts. Any help??

Thx girls, you're the best!

HI, hopefully its all sorted. I'm having the free package with the civil ceremony and justice of the peace to do the legal part and then Fr. Bendedict will conduct a blessing immediately after. His cost is 350 usd. I'm just waiting for my marriage preparation documents to be cleared and received in cancun! thank the lord for that!!

72 hours to book all the rooms? I don't think that is correct. When we did our group contract, it started in January and our guest have until August to book for our October wedding.

Here is the info for the group contract coordinator my TA worked with
Carilis Felipe
Wedding Sales Executive
cfelipe@palaceresorts.com
Tel: 877-725-4933 ext. 6412
Fax: 305.421.1608

You or your TA should be able to contact her to set that up.

Jackie,

72 hours sounds more like how long you have to make the initial down payment to get the contract going. Usually the initial down payment is you paying the amount of nights you are staying at the resort. So you are basically paying your entire reservation up front. Then your guest will be able to make reservations. 72 hours for guest to book doesn't sound right at all....... My guest have been able to make reservations for almost an entire year..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
