Yes, I'm new to the site because we just got engaged & picked the date a couple of weeks ago. We're arriving on June 27 & staying through July 4. How many people are you expecting at your wedding. I'm just getting my STDs in the mail today & tomorrow, so I'm not sure on how many people I'll have yet. I have at least 20 people confirmed so far. Did you choose a package or are you doing the free package? We chose the Amber package.

Most of us are doing the free package and adding the things we want. This is because you cannot change anything if you get the package, and the packages had items that people didn't want or need so it was cheaper to just purchase a la carte. But I know someone picked diamond and there is another bride doing the blue one =)

Welcome all brides to be!! I will be there June 30th!

I am still trying to decide which package makes more sense for us.

My fiance and I just finished our Invitations.. it needs to be printed and hopefully sent by next week. We are expecting about 60 guests. We are having a bigger turn out than we expected. I am not complaining I am quite excited.

I am just really nervous. The communication seems to be ok. I email my WC questions she responds in a week then I send her more questions. I feel like there is soo much to decide and since I am not in this industry I am becoming overwhelmed. Maybe I am just crazy, I dont know!

Jo&delo: Good luck with everythign. Cannot wait to hear about it!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
