I got the flowers from Realistic Silk Wedding Flowers, Natural Touch and Silk Bridal Bouquets and Stephania did amazing. If you contact her let her know that Brooke sent you- she was awesome with me and making the changes that I had asked for! I got 4 boutineers, my bouquet and 3 wristlets for around $179!!! They still look as good as when I got them.
I let my family and friends take photos and used the videographer from Moon Palace and they did awesome putting it together. A++

I also used the lady for the silk flowers and they are beautiful!I would also highly recomend her to anyone! I Have about a month left to go and I'm very excited!

We're having a hell of a time getting people to RSVP. Our problem is that we have a bit of a unique situation, where we have friends getting married in Playa del Carmen the same week we're getting married at MP. We planned things this way so all of our friends would be down in the area at the same time, and we wouldn't have to get them to shell out money to travel down there 2x next year. To avoid any issues, my FI and I (graciously IMO) told all of our friends that they shouldn't worry about picking who's hotel to stay at because no matter what we'll all meet for a group excursion and have fun down in Mexico, even if they miss our ceremony. Our friend's hotel is more reasonably priced as well as we were hoping for a smaller event.

The problem is that she's not doing a damn thing to reign in her RSVPs, and people are still hesitant about where they're staying or if they're even coming! I want to start getting my OOT bags more together, as well as send out pre-wedding brochures etc. to all my attendees!

Anyone run into anything like this at allhuh.gif?

If our friends are staying at her resort, but come to our ceremony do you think I should give them an OOT bag?

Thanks in advance, I'm going to post this as a separate thread also...!!!!!
I'm way behind in this! It is about 40 days until my wedding and my rsvp date was feb1. No one rsvp! You have 45 days until your wedding date and then you loose your room block. HIs parents didnt even book because they were 2 busy on their cruise.

The people who booked on time are as follows: Some of my clients, People he works with and 2 of our friends and my sister/dad. What happened to everyone else!

And for the girl on here who was stressing out about the wrist bands...you probably won't like this too much, but this is what it's all about...F-U-N!!! Futuremsmoulton and I's wedding party had a beer chugging contest at the pool and when it was the bride's turn she totally beat me. Haha!!

Someone told me that the day of the wedding you actually forget the people who are suppose to be there because you are so happy about the ones who were there. This was 100% the truth (minus our irritation with his 14 family members who were in cancun and decided it was going to cost to much with the day passes and taxi to come!-- WTFhuh.gif? you are in cancun for our wedding and you're not coming!!!) But I didn't even miss them in the end!

Hi Brooke,

I love your pictures and thank you for sharing! I see that you brought your cake serving set with you and did you just pack it with your luggage? I figured it would be fine as long as you dont carry it on the plan since it's comes with a knife but just curious...

I dont want to have any issues with customs...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
