What do you mean you went off your wedding dress? You don't like it? You getting a new one? I thought the lemon dress looked wonderfulhuh.gif?

I too lost my motivation in january......and honestly just started thinking about wedding stuff again this week. I'm really frustrated with one particular aspect that involves a specific person booking their travel. So I just kind of let it go for a few months. Now I'm just ready to get away! Even thought about doing a mini vacation down there for 3 days just to GET AWAY....but it just isn't going to happen. sad.gif

What's up with the dress?

oh wouldn't it be lovely for a mini break to mexico!! how long would it take you to fly from where you are to cancun?

well i seem to have gone off the dress!! I Don't really know why! i love the idea of it, but i think when i tried it on once i collected it in my size i just didn't love it like before. i've tried to like it but its just not happening.

luckily it was quite cheap so if i do get another one it would be a major financial loss. but i really don't want to go dress shopping again either!! oh i don't know!!

Hi Everyone!

You have all been so busy chatting that I am pages behind. My wedding turned out to be the dream wedding that every girl dreams of. I am sitting in my room getting ready to go and do my TTD session but I have 90 photos of my wedding online to share Wedding pictures by themoultons - Photobucket I will post more soon, but figured that would give you moon brides a couple beach photos of what to expect from the free ceremony!!

Now you are OFFICIALLY Mrs. Moulton! Congratulations! You looked fabulous in your dress on your FB profile picture! Thanks for posting....we were all worried and hoping for the best! Have fun and enjoy your honeymoon.

Woodsylou, It is basically a 4.5 hour flight from Denver. But airfare is ridiculous these days. So it would be like $2 just to go for the weekend which we just can't justify.

As for the dress....if you do decide to shop again for a dress....check out Helene Bridal online. I got my dress from them...$300 included shipping from China. It's a knock off...but I LOVE it and it was made to my measurements which fit fantastic. Think on the dress....try it on a couple more times and think about any alterations you could maybe have done. :)

that dress is really pretty woodsylou. do you have pics of the lemmon one?

a mini vaca to mexico sounds great! its only an hour and a half for me to fly =) but soooo expensive right now. don't worry about the burn out ladies....the beauty of our destination weddings is that there is basically very little to plan =)

janelley is right....the del sol sticky thread has a good 3 or 4 slideshows to look at..but an even better tool for pictures is GOOGLE. using google and some patience, i have found about 30 MP wedding albums of non BDW brides! awesome! I have also found 4 or 5 videos....and of course trip advisor is great for resort photos (2000+ traveller pics). looking at these always gets me excited!

Woodsylou....That dress is gorgeous. I love how form fitting is looks.

My dress is Wedding Dresses - Sheath Dress with Sweetheart Dropped Waist - WD0645. It cost $269 total with shipping. I was SHOCKED when it came in the mail in a tiny package...but it was perfect. They folded it up so perfect there wasn't a wrinkly in the dress anywhere! But I panicked when I saw how small the little package was. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
