I totally agree...I booked them too. I am so excited!

Katiemcad...another May 29th wedding...so excited to hear! I know of at least one other wedding happening on the same day as well..I'm not doing a catholic ceremony so I'm not sure about the priest. Good Luck!

I think you have the wrong impression. Moon palace is not at all a "spring breakers" hang out. And every site gives it 4-5 stars. The wrist bands distinguish between types of guests (yellow for honeymooners, green for timeshare holders, etc). It not some all access clubbing pass or anything. And moon palace is secluded and completely off the cancun hotel strip.

I too, absolutley LOVE Moon Palace. I have vacationed there twice and plan on getting married there in May. I have not had any problems with my WC or anyone else.

I too will be having a welcome dinner for over 35 people. I was told that the capacity of most restaurants are 35 people. Therefore we are doing another private event for when people arrive. It will be for the day before the wedding...sort of a meet and greet. I was told that we could either book a ballroom or outside Terrace and then serve food similar to what we wanted at from a restaurant. If you have 20 and over (I believe that what the contract says) rooms booked you can have however many private functions that you want. I was even thinking about doing a breakfast or brunch before everyone leaves.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
