YAY!! Got my dress at running of the brides!

Ok so I went to the Running of the Brides in Manhasset, Long Island and got my dress!! It was a great price at $250 and was more than $1,000.

 

Here's the pic on the model, I don't have my own pics yet, waiting for my sis to email me pics.

 

There were dresses that were damaged and dirty, but mine was in excellent shape, didn't even look like it had been tried on yet!! I definitely recommend the Running of the Brides event if you can get to one, it truly was a blast with my girls and my fiance! He grabbed a ton of dresses, put them in a pile for me and then went and took a nap in the car - an hour later, I had my dress! The picture does it no justice, it has sequins and pearls all over the dress and sparkles like crazy! I am going to have a seamstress alter the bottom so it is more of a trumpet shape and not so much A-line, so I'll have to post it when that's done.

 

What do you guys think??

Oh wow its beautiful!!!! I give you credit for going, people were telling me to go I said I'm scared..that many running brides? no way I'll get trampled on, that many women in one room is just way to much estrogen for me, Now I wish i did..your dress is amazing congrats!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
