Wow! Love the dress Sofiya! And I can't see the jewelery in detail, but it looks nice with your dress from the pics. Also I have the pricing list for the spa, it might be easier to PM it to you or email it?

Tricia, the white party dress looks fab! I love it! We are still in debate if we are going to head to the discoteca with our friends and family, or make way to the honeymoon suite-

Thanks for the shipping suggestions, you have all convinced me it is better to split it up in our luggage. I just hope for no problems at the airport...

Hope you all have fantastic Fridays!!!

I love seeing everyone's dress! It's so fun. Tony, says....so you've never met these people and you talk as if you know them?? I tried to explain the bond that brides have, but he just laughs...
I know it is hard to explain the trust and comfort we have with people we have never met. FI and I were awake last night at like 2am and he is leaning on my arm reading what had been posted since I had gone to bed. His comment was "women!! I just can not figure you girls out. lol don't even try baby...

I have stuff going with friends and family... i know they will beg and plead my case to keep my stuff and if I loose it, I know that every effort possible was made to get my stuff to Mexico. Shipping stuff to the resort or WC they do not have the commitment or understanding of how much this stuff means to you and life it gets lost "oh well".... your family and friends will help you... for surefoshizzle.bmp

Breens - make sure and bring all your receipts for the stuff you're bringing to mexico. If you get asked it's good to have all the documentation in order. I have a folder I've started just in case!

Hi guys....what a stressful day! I came home at 530 this morning and with about 5 hours sleep in two days probably not firing as fast as usual....so what does this idiot do? Checks her email. Big mistake. HUGE.

I have an email from UPS. I can read in the subject line that it is addressed to me and they could not deliver a package because my street address is wrong. Well I am expecting some stuff and I know UPS is delivering it...but I don't click fast enough in my brain they would not email me and I brought the mail in and there is no notice. So dumb ass here opens it. Yup Trojan root worm virus. F#%k. I realize in less than 3 seconds what was happening and started ripping cords out of the wall and modem. Not fast enough.

So then my day off that was supposed to be somewhat fun and relaxing getting a load of stuff crossed off my list has turned in to over 6 hours of trying to save the computer. Oh yeah. Did I mention on my list of things to do was get an external hard drive to protect my docs and back them up.

After all this they are going to have to wipe that baby out. I almost threw up and asked if my friend realized I was getting married in 5 weeks and the whole freaking thing is on there? So now two computer gurus I just met through my sweetheart of a cousin have taken pity on me and have the tower. They think they can get into it and save my stuff. OMG. I know it is only wedding stuff and it is my own fault but guys.....here I go again....monkey.gif only this time I am at home and can go to the fridge...I have drinks in there. This day calls for liquor. Lots of liquor.

Okay this is a long post but I am just kinda sick. Please cross your fingers for me!

Susie- I am glad that I have a partner in crime that doesn't sleep! Have a great legal day tommorrow!!! I'll be thinking of you!

Breens- I agree with Erica! When packing your luggage put an envelope with the recipt in the front pocket of the luggage or in side in a pocket where it can easily be accessed at customs. Don't let any one carry over $300 total of items. I am making my mother in law, mother, FI and sister all carry stuff for me if need be.

Raykel- I am sick for you! I have all of my photos and stuff backed up on a hard drive, but I would still be so upset and worried if it was all gone like that. Hope that they can get it fixed for you. I probably would have opened it up too though thinking that UPS would have been safe. Do you have an anti virus blocker-- can you get AVG free? Its caught a stopped a lot of virus's for me.

Tricia and Shells- The guys will never actually understand all the stress and work that goes into us planning out our wedding days and dealing with coordinators and the craziness of organizing the bags. Thank goodness I found you all. I told Justin about meeting up with everyone for Krista's weddding and he was like "That will be fun, Is Timberly going with you?" I had to laugh that he even knows all of the brides names because I talk about you all like you're old friends.

So here is my CRAZY wedding prep at this point:

OOT bags- Ordered 72 pairs of sunglasses, 150 glow in the dark mugs (Tricia and Tony you are both getting one cause i only need 50 and will have tons extra), Pashminas, Mexico lanyards &key chains, pain killers and 5 hr energy shots. I am still working on the welcome brochure.

Also ordered:

Rose Petals Freeze Dried Vavoom Orange $12.00

Confetti Eco 4qt/Bag White $6.99

Colored Sand Blue Velvet 2lb $7.99

Paper Parasol 32in Chartreuse $5.69

Colored Sand Kiwi 2lbs $7.99

Shells Indian Small Mix

Now this week I need to get my boudior shoot done, we moved it up to wens and bring in our sand ceremony items things remembered to get them engraved (I am engraving the pourers with a B & J and then writing our names, date and location on the other) maybe get Justin's ring engraved.

My final dress fitting is on Jan 27th and we are doing a hair, makeup and jewelry run through then. I feel like I am missing something ladies. Can you think of anything?

How are you ladies whos days are coming up here really quickly holding up??

Hello lovlies,

HAPPY LEGAL DAY SUSIE!!!!! *HUGS AND KISSES*

I love the dresses ladies!! great choices. You are some HAWT MOMMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry for the virus...BOO to the virus and fingers tightly crossed for you. They will be able to save you stuff, think positive.

Brooke, tell Justin I said heeello and yes I will be shotgun for the wedding :)

Today is my shower and I am so excited that people care enough to shower me with well wishes and love.

I wrapped the rest of my fans today, picked up my flowergirl dresses and shoes, picked up some shoes I had altered, bought my hair for my clip in hair extensions that my hairdresser is making, started on my ceremony programs and started on my menus. Oh yes, I got the cigar roller secured and locked in.

I am surprisingly calm and collected. He doesn't have his suit or shoes, but I am calm and collected. Maybe its the calm before the *#@% storm shitfan.gifthat will ensue if the suit is not ready intime and if he doesnt hurry and find some shoesfoshizzle.bmp

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
