I think we've all been there before. Trying on dress after dress after dress!
Your mom and FI's mom have a different taste than you and they want you to try on these huge princess looking dresses. You don't want to, BUT it is fun for them so you head back in the dressing room and throw on that ugly dress they picked! I remember getting home from dress shopping, collapsing on the couch and sleeping for 2 hours before my FI got home and wondered what happened to me! LOL

Awwwww that's not fun at all. When I went I had an idea of what I wanted, but didn't know what would look good so I tried on every dress my friends found. I was definately worn out!! The sales clerk kept pushing about the veil and from the beginning I didn't want to wear one so I was like fine I'll put it on, but I'm not buying one so you're wasting your time. ha ha ha She stopped after that.

Yeah it's not like FI is going to be really surprized as to whats under the veil, "you been looking at the same face long enough to know what it looks like, good days and bad days." I had this sales lady trying to put come bird cage thing in my head, lol Ah No!!!! take that off now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found dress shopping kind of fun and it went way faster than I thought. I didn't fall for any of the dresses until I tired on "the one." After that, I found one other that was a competitor, but as soon as I tried on my original favorite.....I swiped the credit card!!

My dress is made by Pronovias.....M.M. something. I'm not sure of the style name but it is kind of a trumpet style. I will post pics in January when I get my hands on my dress.

Thanks for all your kind words and support!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
