Hi Ladies -

ANOTHER Feb. 18th, 2010 bride here! That must be a good day to get married! I am getting married at the Casa Magna Marriott at their wedding gazebo over looking the ocean! SO EXCITED!

So I've got I think most things done now I am just debating flowers and centerpeices. Do you think its crazy for me to want to do my centerpeices myself? I was thinking of buying vases at walmart, I have ribbon to wrap around the vase and then going to a flower shop and buying flowers...does anyone think I'm crazy for doing this?? I really need some advice for either DIY centerpeices or a cheap forists! Anyone??

Wow! Very chic! I love the bottom, it looks very flowy! I wish I could do strapless but the "girls" look like they will fall out! lol

Is it a two piece dress? I think it flatters you!
Well done! I can't wait to see more pics!!!

We signed up for a 2 year contract over here. But, they might ask us to stay longer. Things are going well but we still have a lot of deadlines to hit. So we may be out here until 2011 or so. It's been fun and very exciting. We went to Beijing and climbed part of the Great Wall, and saw the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Tiannamen's Square & Olympic Park.

We are having a great time!

GOOD NEWS!

Went shopping for a dress yesterday and found one within 5 hours. I absolutely LOVE it! It has now been ordered and the shop guaranteed that it will arrive sometime in January. I was definitely cutting it close......multiple stores told me that if I would have waited one more week, they may not have been able to order a dress in before my wedding in February. Phheeeewww!

Unfortunately I won't have any pics until after the wedding sad.gif

I am already catching myself daydreaming about my dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
