We'll see nothing has really jumped out at me and I have been window shopping (online) for about two years.
I think Chinese food would be great for dinner, hummmmmmm maybe while I am working I can get FI to cook. He'll just order food/
So Erica do you find it lonely being so far from home?
I love going to open houses and seeing how they decorated. We just bought a house 3 years ago before we knew we were moving to China. But, we still have it and have been remodeling it ever since. The last thing we had done was vinyl siding and it really makes it look nice considering the house was "MINT GREEN" when we bought it. The bathroom was pink, even the toilet and toilet seat!!! We built a 2 level deck on the back and we really miss sitting out there and watching nature since it backs up to one acre of woods. The one sad part we found out 6 months ago was we had an empty lot next to us which we were planning to buy when we moved back in 2010 but, it has been sold and the buyer is building a house on it. We were so bummed! Oh well, we should have bought it when we bought the house.

Our dinner last night was great! We had really good chinese food! I hope you get some sleep this weekend.

As far as missing Michigan, YES we miss it alot. It was hard to leave our family behind. Especially my 9 year old black lab. She was a sweetie, fortunately my mother took her and she has become part of their family. They love her to death and when I go back home to visit she'll walk over to me, wag her tail and then go sit by my mom! My mom said we can't have her back when we come home because she is theirs now. I guess we'll have to see.

But, we have been working for the same company over here for over 12 years so when we moved out here they are paying for our housing/bills, transportation and 3-4 trips home a year! We are very fortunate. So the longest we've been away from our family is 4months. We just became an aunt and uncle last week so we won't get to see our new nephew for 5 weeks! So, we will be home Dec. 17-Jan 4.

Okay, sorry for the long book!

Better get going, I hear my FI in the kitchen attempting to make breakfast. LOL

Wow...work is so getting in the way of me being on here more! I missed a couple days and it can be pages!

You guys are so lucky your dresses are in! I can't wait for mine to be here and get some pictures in it. I can't wait to see the picutes!

Both of these dresses are fabulous! Where did you find them? It is a little difficult finding stuff for a destination wedding because everything in the stores is all about winter right nowsad.gif I may have to resort to sewing something.

Well....back to work!

I drive past this piece of property about 30 minutes for my house and it is so lovely, It has a for sale sign and it looks pretty large and very well treed. I am so tempted to call and find out more details.
I just need to focus on one thing at a time......

Congrats on becoming an Aunt again....

VdayBride--- Girlllll you better not go eat those honeybuns! I am sitting here writing this from the JFK airport and I will come and HUNT you down and wrestle that out of your hands! lol (I have to go to SYR tonight.. grrr.. not happy!)

Susie- I am afraid of wearing bold prints like that cause I am afraid that a butterfly would look like the size of a moose across my butt. On a totally personal side note I also am afraid of wearing thongs because I am afraid that if I ever bend over in one my fiance will think I look like a Sumo Wrestler!

MsGoodrich- Give them hell- I am so sick of hearing how they are ignoring everyone... for the record I haven't heard anything from them, nor do I care because my friend got married down there and it stressed her out, but she got down to the month before she left and they were great and then she got down there and they were AMAZING-- so not to much stressing. They will send us packages with prices and flowers and the horsie and carriage ride and all of that good stuff here soon!

Raykel--- Why are you letting work get in the way of chatting with your girls on here?? lol

Shellk- When do we get to see the new photos of the dress?

Meyer- Why would you ever miss this "beautiful" weather that we have here in the Midwest? I would be more than happy to send it to China for you! :o)

Ok Ladies-- here is my latest hyped up Xenderine induced questions

What is your first dance song going to be? (mine is God Blessed the Broken Road by Rascall Flatts)

What is your Father/Daughter Dance? I have a ton of options and I tried to ask my dad and played some and he cried through them all (overly emotional when it comes to his first born)....so now I am worried that he will cry the whole dance!

FutureMsMouton....I would not let work get in the way - but people keep talking to me about work stuff!!! LOL...Seriously...what are they thinking! Hahaha..I am just happy they don't have this blocked and at least tonight there are a couple quiet moments for me to take advantage of.

The sond I think we are going to do for the parents' dance is Aaron Lines...Twenty Years Late. Totally country, and its more him singing to his mom, but seems to fit with the whole kid/parent thing. At least that is what I think we are going to use....my FI may change his mind.....

I haven't heard it but now I will go listen to it-- doesn't take me much to listen to country. I am thinking the songs my little girl by tim mcgraw for the dad dance or Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks... so hard to decide!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
