Okay so I did well in my game today. I am arranging a limo bus for everyone to/from the airport. So I send out an email today and who responds that they are not joining us? WHAT-EVER!!

 

Raykel - good luck with your dress. And if the smackdown needs to be laid - let your momma, you don't want any marks/bruises that may not go away before the wedding!!

29 days to go here. I still cant find matching pants for my guys. I might have to let them pick and just match my shade. So frustrating. Hopefully all the planning is going well with everyone else. Cant wait to see dress pictures.

This site was going bonkers, I was trying to post last night..but no dice!

 

Well girls, I am super pumped and ready to "marry" my honey..AGAIN . We still have not finalized the menu and his best man/men are not confirmed. I didn't shop for dresses to wear around the resort, but I have a fancy red dress that I will wear for the "informal" rehearsal dinner. I am excited and exhausted at the same time. I still don't have my make up or hair planned out and this has been a thorn in my side!!

I got my sand ceremony set in the mail today and all I can say is "what the hell was I thinking?" it is so tiny. I must not have read the description well I might find something else and just have that one for I don't know.. a paper weight or something. will post a pic in a few.

Well ladies the dress saga/drama is over. The did fix it for the most part. It is about 90% better than it was last week, so I am taking it at that and leaving it so I don't have to stress anymore. Those of us who have seen it will know what is going on, but the rest - no one will see it, so that is ok with me. Yeah and thank gosh. Thank you all so much for the support and good thoughts! Woohooo----dress check! I will pick it up on the 17th all steamed, bagged and ready to go

 

You guys are great...let momma doing the beating hahahaha....honestly, mom and I may not see eye to eye, but she was right in there today looking at the seams and making sure things were hanging right. Gotta love mom's.

 

Then of course I made her cry because we started talking about the whole walking down the aisle. My dad died when I was 13, so this last 4 months I have had some tough moments planning this because everyone picks these songs etc....and I miss out on that. Sucks out loud, but what do you do? So I told her I had decided to go with the memory frame attached to my bouquet and that when I get halfway down the aisle Kel is going to come from the front and meet me and we will walk the rest of the way together. Mom starts crying! I felt so bad....I was like if I am hurting your feelings and you want to walk me, you can......its not really what I want, but mom was crying! She said she didn't care she just felt bad dad wasn't going to be there. So now we are sitting in the parking lot outside Home Sense crying! People walking by must have thought we were nuts.

 

So we went inside, red eyes and all and indulged in some retail therapy Love shopping for stuff...just random stuff. It was a nice.

Well Vday bride... you guys don't have a best man, and we don't have them clothes :s *It's stressing me out.

Got a UPS notice today that my maracas are here, and apparently I owe $40 in duty! *Not happy!!! I should have waited and just bought them in Mexico. *sigh..... you live you learn.

We have had a last minute cancellation who btw- couldn't even grace us with the courtesy of a phone call or email... nooooooooooo instead hides behind his brother, my FFIL. NOT IMPRESSED. But! Low and behold, his sister my future aunt in law, has just out of the blue without advising me invited and booked her boyfriend! so exciting!!! Love the last minute planning. Note the sarcasm Oh how I wish I was in Mexico with Susie right now. Hope all her dreams are coming true.

 

Second dress fitting tomorrow. If all goes well I'll bring it home. Went all over town this weekend looking for a strapless bra (was hoping I wouldn't need one but the seamstress says I do..) found one on sale for $9.75. LOVE a bargain!

 

Had a nice evening with the fiance. awwwww

Ladies I really don't know what i would do without you guys the last couple months! There have been highs and lows and through it all I knew that I could talk to all of you and that I would have honesty and support. Thank you!!

 

Raykel- What an awesome and thoughful thing to have his picture there! I am stopping at the end of the aisle and putting a callalilly down in the sand as a symbol for justin's dad who passed on in 2000. Those special touches are amazing! Glad that things worked out as well as they could with your dress.

 

Chris- UGHHHHHH damn guests--- have some balls or something.... if you don't have them grow a set and say "Hey I'm not able to make it, sorry!!" That sucks sorry to hear that you are going through it.

i second what brooke said.what is happening im sure everyday this week i have woke up early come on here and you make me cry before i go to work.jons bro emailed me last night saying he wont be able to make the family send off party next fri (he lives 4hrs away) so totally understand.he said you are nearly there my brother is soo lucky but we are more so to have you in our family aarrrgghhh.yes he is gay but its still nice lol

well friday tomorrow my hen night and another week gone bring it on.i made fi try his outfit on last night cause he aint had it all on together yet.i wanted to take a photo for planning thread and he was like "no i knew what you was going to do i look awful" lol.he did as he was told tho even if he were,nt smiling
