Day 1 - Arrived in Tokyo at 9pm - Ate dinner in Shinjuku
Day 2 - Took the train to Kamakura to see Japan's Largest Buddha, visited the Roppongi area and had dinner and drinks with friends.
Day 3 - Did some shopping in Harajuku and gawked at the interesting Japanese girls that had blue hair, some dressed as maids or school girls, Some dressed from head to toe in pink. Saw many dogs that were dressed up in outfits and were being pushed in baby strollers. Had dinner at a Okonomiyaki restaurant.
Day 4 - Last minute shopping in Shinjuku and then taking the train to Narita Airport.

Miss you girls, I'll catch up with you later! smile78.gif

Oh Erica we have missed you, love the pictures, friends of ours had their honeymoon in Japan and they actually took pictures for us of the dogs dressed in little outfits and in strollers. They thought it was funny because we call our dogs children and one does wear hoodies. I am so glad you guys had fun, now you just weeks away from all the chaos and stress... Ah did I say "welcome back" lol

Oh ladies, I tried my dress on again last night for my girlfriend and I did really like it last night. I was feeling very weird yesterday. I am having some stomach issues lately and had to have some test done yesterday. That was not pleasant, and to top it off the medical centre has a youth court in the lower level. I when I was leaving I seen a young man that had totally freaked out and was clearly trying to run away being taken down by four police officers. He was clearly in a lot of trouble and was probably there for court. He was clearly in crisis and my heart was breaking... looked about 15.. Oh now I remember why I left that field of employment... Just too hard.

Oh the kicker was the guy I turned down the job with called me right before I got to see my dress and told me he wasn't happy with the invoice I gave him for the work that was done. Yeah so I was a little twisted...Oh right you still want to see a picture..lol My gfriend did take 2 front and back and she'll send it today and I'll post. i am feeling better.

Hi ladies!

I went away for the weekend and had a great rest - no computers, tvs etc, but I missed so much! Of course now I am also looking at all the things I did not get done and have to do now!

Welcome to all the newcomers on here!

SusieQ - I know it has been said, but that job interview....he folded your resume into a boat on the desk btw youhuh.gif Seriously how unprofessional is that!

Italiagirl...don't know if you have seen it on the threads here yet, but a lot of people have used discountmugs.com

Okay guys....my bridesmaid dresses are in, the girls just have to pick them up - check

flowergirl dresses are in and just have to be picked up - check

my dress - ordered but not here yet (impatiently waiting!)

Groom and groomsmen stuff - not even looking yet! My FI is out of town and has not even gotten to speak to his friends that he is planning to ask! Driving me crazy because he is so into last minute shopping I am worried it will be right before we leave in Feb he will be shopping! I am too much of a planner for that not to drive me crazy, but I suppose all he really has to buy is a shirt...how hard could that be, right?

Speaking of younger sister...my FI's sister HAS to be the center of attention and recently got upset for not being included in things. She's not in the wedding party, but her hubby is - I guess that's where it all started. So my guess is that she's going to announce she's pregnant at the wedding. ha ha

Raykel,

welcome home we missed you!!! You gals are right that guy is an @sshole and I just need to forget about him and focus on the wonderful things in my life.... Bye the way i think I am th first of us to get married... Feb 2... yippe

My dress I'll get GF to send it to me tonight when she gets home from work... she looked a little tired last night. I felt bad to say "oh by the way can you send that before you go to bed". I could do that to you gals and you'd totally get my eagerness and "can you do that like right now". I worry sometimes if people get sick of the "my wedding stuff". I catch myself sometimes rambling on, I could make and tuna sandwich conversation revert back to my wedding. lol I can do it trust me.... Off again to finish my last job for the day... I have to pick up all my staging stuff ,the house I did last week sold last night... Yippeeeeeeeeeee... Grrr now I have to pack all that stuff away in the garage and in my basement. sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today is the first time I have seen what my bridesmaids dresses look like in the right color (they didn't have any dresses in the right color when we tried them on so I was able to see what the style of the dress looked like on the bridesmaids, but not the color)

Tell me what you think :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
