You should be good for time, the ceremony does not take that long. Maybe you can get in touch with your photographer and see what he/she suggests. That way you will know they have a plan and you won't have to worry? I am sure it will all be good. You would think a WC would tell you if you were going to loose your daylight before you could take the photos.

I like what VDay said as well. You could do some of your photos before hand if you wanted.

Brooke...glad you are feeling better and home!

VDay ...Happy Birthday! I know the day is almost over but hugs and happy wishes! I am going to check out your site tomorrow....I can't log in at work. I can't wait to see them! Good for you getting it all done and making the photographer's website!

Tricia - a shopping day when you don't even have to play hookie! Woohooo! About your veil...it was suggested to me that I could use some small fishing weights or crystals from an old chandelier....that would hold the veil down and keep it from blowing around so much.

Timberly- Did you ever think in a million years that you would feel comfortable enough to have a bunch of other people (most of them that you've never met) seeing those photos? I would have shown them off too if I looked that hot!!

-- plus it feels like you guys are all old friends that I have known for years instead of just a couple months. Really looking forward to doing the meet up somewhere (Serioulsy-- I think we should make it Krista's July Wedding) smile29.gif

Thanks ladies.

No I NEVER thought in a million years I would feel that comfortable, nope no way. I still think I am a little nutso! I feel like I don't have to see you ladies all day at work or something, so it doesn't feel so freakish.. LOL.

I had a sucky day at first, but it ended up pretty ok. I am not doing anything wedding related right now and I feel guilty.. I am NUTS. What will I do once this is all over>

I am all for a Kristy wedding invasion!!

Never thought that I would have to use the words scissors and wedding dress in the same sentence, but..........

Drove 3 hours to pick up my dress and have my first fitting today. When I arrived at the store the consultant told me that the seamstress wasn't in and would be unavailable until the 12th.........WHAT?!?!?! Laughed it off, but deep down felt pissed that I drove all that way and couldn't even have it pinned for alterations. Tried on my dress, which I still love, and pranced around the store for a brief moment.

The consultant goes to help me unzip, but the zipper is stuck. Yes thats right........I am stuck in my brand new Pronovias wedding gown. I'm laughing, while two more consultants attempt to get me out of my dress. OMG, the zipper is broken and they couldn't get me out. The only option was to CUT me out of my dress.

To make the day worse, I couldn't find any sexy heels......everything is looking very winter in the stores, so I am going to wait a few more weeks and pray that spring stock starts to arrive.

What a day......haha......all I can do is laugh and try not to think of how stressful these next 4 weeks are going to be.

I hope you all have a great weekend (just compare is to being cut out of your wedding dress and anything will sound good.....haha)

Oh my goodness I am so sorry to hear that! yes scissors and wedding dress in the same sentence should only be used by professonals. AND it was a Pronovias...which one did you get Teneil? Where are our pics lady?

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
