Sofiya! Beautiful...I love the way the sparkle follows the lines on the dress. You look wonderful. The jewelry looks like it works well to me. Simple with clean lines like the dress:)

Some of you guys were talking about sweating and chaffing earlier (if I spelt that right).....there is this stuff you can get that rocks. I love it and so do a couple of my friends. It is by Kama Sutra and called "Honey Dust"....we use the strawberry champagne one. It is a really light power you can put on and it absorbs all the moisture. A friend of mine get the leg thing too (to the point she will get rashes - not to be gross) and she never has a problem anymore with this stuff. You can use it on your sheets/inside clothing, in your hair....everything. It is magic and worth every penny.

Bonus: Not only does it smell good (but very light smell) it tastes like the name so the boys like it too:)

Hi Ladies

It's 3am and I am wide awake.. lol FI is sitting here with me... actually he is making us tea to see if we can get back to sleep.

Chris I love you dress... it is just stunning with all that sparkle. The fit is beautiful as well. You look like a very happy girl.

Also I know the pain of living with someone that doesn't go to the dentist regularly. My ex didn't go for 12 years and he ended up having two teeth very infected and swollen, he suffered like a dog for about a week. Well he gets a phone call that he has to go back east, his mother's brother and sister were killed in a car accident. so here he is with this huge swollen face and infected teeth.

I call our dentist and just catch him before he is leaving the office and he is able to see us. I drive the ex over and he is shaking, I am thinking it's the news from home and he is just so upset. We get in the elevator and it's going up and he sinks to his knees he is about to pass out. I get him into the office and this panic attack comes on he can not breathe and the shaking. The dentist knowing the situation gets the gas on him and puts him out. He later told me he was so terrified of the dentist that years ago he had gone to the dentist office and sat him his car gone into panic and tried to leave hitting two parked cars. So I get the dentist fear and the reluctance to go. I lived it for 17 years. Not that makes you feel better knowing your honey doesn't have his teeth all sparkley before your big day.

One more sleep and I am Mrs. Vanderwouw.... Mark says Hi ladies...

Shells - at least he picked a song! Mine is in charge of the music. Know how much he has picked? None...nada...zip nothing! We have lots of time he says...oh did I mention he works out of town! Control freak away - I am with you sisterwink.gif

Susie - poor Mark...my mouth does not freeze so I get the fear. I have to be knocked out. I started going to a dental surgeon years ago and ever since the fear has definitly improved! It helps when you are unconscious! When I was a kid I would cry and cry because it hurt so much and my mom listened to the dentist when she told my mom I was just scared of the sound of the drill; they weren't hurting me. Imagine how mom feels now whenever that topic comes up. What do you do.

Hi Ladies!! So much to catch up on and our dog is still whining every time I sit down on the computer.... This weekend is mine and Austin's bach/bchette parties... Im going back to Cali :)) and he is headed over to Tampa. Secretly hoping that he doesnt get taken to Mons Venus (crazy strip bar) but trust him so I guess its ok (his friends are good guys so I am not too worried) Also doing a boudoir photo shoot saturday morning, got my outfits all picked out. I am one very lucky girl!

Also my dress doesnt fit! I have lost 7lbs and so they are going to take it in again in 2 weeks, the week before we go... great problem to have!

I agree with all of you about feeling crazy stressed, I have huge knots in my back and headaches almost everyday. I took the day off today to and get a massage becasue I am miserable. Quite a few things left to do and the hours in the day seem to whiz by!!

Svet.. good luck on the not smoking, you can do it girl! Like you I was a closet smoker for years (on and off but always and still addicted- once and addict, always an addict)... finally kicked it for good the weeks before I was hoping my FI would lay the first kiss on me... All I have to do is think about how friggin HARD it was to quit and how miserable and bitchy I was for a few weeks and I know I never want to go through that again... YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Gosh, I havent been on all week and there are so many things to say to give support on... positive thoughts are being sent your way for FIs niece/cousin (??), sore gums (yikes), bad dreams, getting all of the clothing arranged (I think the necklace is pretty with the dress, also very pretty and the short white one is pretty too), getting FIs to get it in gear (mine is the same way), good shipping vibes to Mexico (we are taking the stuff ourselves), planning threads (looking forward to it) and congrats to all those who are making it legal...

The dress looks really wonderful on you -- very elegant. Oh, and I love the shoes!

Raykel -- Sometimes I make short-term "to-do's" to organize my day, other times, I make loooong ones, like for the wedding!

I can't believe I'm getting married a month from tomorrow!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
