haha thx Susie! Nothing really is bugging me... just getting stressed in anticipation. Long list of things to do still.
I am wishing I made my ceremony at 3pm or 3:30pm. I feel 4pm will be a big rush against time in regards to darkness. Here's to hoping the wedding is on time! At least my photographer takes awesome night shots, lol

Our ceremony is at 11 a.m.; it was the only time left on the day we wanted to get married. Our reception is at 6:30 p.m., then we're doing dancing in the resort disco after that. We plan on doing our pictures right after the ceremony, then just letting everyone do their own thing until the reception. My biggest worry is having enough time in the morning to get everyone's hair and makeup done and get dressed.

My biggest stress right now (aside from getting to my dress fitting on time tonight!) is my wedding ring. The one that matches my engagement ring turned out to be a lot pricier than I was originally told. Not sure what I'm gonna do, and we leave in 5 weeks!

Our ceremony is also at 4pm and we are at the barcelo maya palace on Feb 25th. I don't think 4 is too late, the beach clears out by then so your ceremony will be a little more private

We are up in the air if they are going to honor our cocktail hour and reception or not. We are going to go and bar hop to 9 different bars and if guests want to change and hang out poolside for the afternoon thats cool too! No stress!

You will be so excited about it all that you will be up at the crack of dawn and getting everyone geared up!

Can I ask how long you have been planning your wedding? How many bridesmaids do you have? What colors are you going with? We will all try to help you out if we can.

YAY!!! When I start to read the details about people's day I just get so flippin' excited!! I can't believe it's almost here!!

Today, my patients canceled due to snow so I went shopping and had a pretty successful day!

I most likely have my shoes taken care of. I want them dyed 2 different colors so they are going to confirm with the dye-girl that she can do that and then call me tomorrow. I also found a back up just in case that doesn't work out.

I got my earrings from Dillards and I love them.

I got 2 hostess gifts for the girls throwing me a shower.

Victoria secret is having their semi-annual sale and had TONS of swim suits in the store (that I actually got to try on instead of chancing it with online) so I found one that I liked finally and got an "outfit" that I thought I might wear for FI on Valentines day.

I also found a veil that I loved, but haven't decided on what kind I want yet. I kind of want a cathedral length like this bride...

Do you guys think it's too long for a beach wedding? Too windy? It's just so pretty, but I could totally go shorter too.

I had three...and one is doing this..I am not sure if I am coming...I would really like to bring a guy... I would like this I would like that..your hotel is to expensive.... so I basically told her..ya know what..as far as im concerned you are not coming... you never have a damn bf... and the guys you pick are losers off the streets that cant even pay for a happy meal for you... so what makes you think they are going to buy you a ticket and hotel to mexico!!!!!! SO..stfu.gif so now i have two...one we communicate through emails..some where along the line.. an email went down the poop shoot cause apparently she told me she was buying this hideous dress... sooooo ... I am trying to convince her to use the dress for her birthday which is one of the days we are out there..and I told her I would buy her damn dress.... ugh! I wanted a wine...kinda burgundy color... she bought a dress that was like a grape color...horrendous!! We were orginally going to get married on Halloween but my dress would not have been ready in time...so we switched it which I was glad for...it was a horrible days...stormy and lots of these little bugs (we went on vacation anyways) it was pretty bad... so... thats the story for now..

What are you going to wear to the disco? I'm trying to decide.

You should consider having a small privately owned place make your band. We were quoted a high price too for my band and then went to a mom and pop place and they quoted us 1/2 of what the other place did!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
