Ok the xmas tale of the homeless person..... lmao

It is the morning after, santa has been here and the sockings are full awaiting the arrival of excited xmas cheer... missed my calling in life.. should have wrote short stories lol

Ok the homeless person... Well!!!!! My brother the lump of no brains that takes direction from the wrong head, starting dating this chic in August. They met through his work and went on one date and she never really went home after that. I met her about two weeks after that initial fist date that didn't end. My lovely bro bought her to my house and I was charmed with the (let sue be nice here) Allure of her personality.

Ok she sounds like one of Marg Simpson's sisters, dresses like she should be getting up close and personal with a pole. Oh and let's not forget... brags about how she can drink a whole beer down in one swallow, without allowing foam to appear in the glass. You gals getting the pretty picture?

So they date for months and she is living at his apartment and he seems all happy.. until one night he drops by to advise me he has asked her to leave. Ok you'll love this.. He wanted her to move out because he never asked her to stay and she is drinking all of his beer. lol Bro has his priorities and his limits... Damn if she is drinking my beer she needs to go. So they break up and she ends up living at the womans shelter in town.. This happened two weeks ago....

However... they are still seeing each other and she is trying to find a place to live... He just won't let her stay all night because she drinks all of his beer..... So I have a homeless lady for xmas dinner today... Because bro feels bad about her not having any one to spend xmas with..... Lord help me!!!! you wonder why I have trouble sleepinghuh.gifhuh.gif Yeah !!!!!!!

Funny story... last xmas our neighbours love our dogs (her son is 3yrs) they bought over these fancy doggie cookies in a clear plastic container, they had icing and sprinkles. My son come home a few too many beers in him, we were in bed... He pulls out the container and eats the entire package... I get up in the morning and the plastic container is sitting on the counter emtpy... Oh did he get teased about having doggie breath.... hmmmm Maybe if I made homemade doggie cookies, I could fed him and the dogs....
Hahaha....that is hilarious!

Oh boy...work was busy the other day and then trying to get Christmas stuff done I have been away a couple.....I hate missing days like that! I feel like I miss out on so much....

Brooke...I am so happy you finally heard from your WC. Hopefully now you will get to have more regular contact with her (him?) and not have to stress and worry about that part of things at all! I think getting your phone planned changed is a really good idea...I wish I could do that. I think we are going to use your white board idea, but guy...don't laugh...I am so paranoid! If we put the white board up, then people will know we are not in our room! (yes I know that sounds crazy because how often when you are at the resort are you actually in your room anyway?) Your crazy straw idea for the oot bags sounds like a hoot. Can't you just see your drunk friends and family all running around with these straws wrapped around their heads - it would be hilarious and lots of fun.

You and Timberly are so lucky! You actually met on here and get to hang out and go shopping - in NYC! Have fun for the rest of us....I am so living vicariously through you two when it comes to thatwink.gif

Timberly...the RVSP thing hasn't really been an issue for us. I thought I had it all pretty well figured out with just a couple of stragglers. Then I just found out in the last few weeks there is a whole group from the FI family side that is planning to come and are looking for another deal. This is fine and it would be wonderful to have them there, but only one of them has actually RSVP'd....nothing from the rest of them AT ALL! No emails, phone calls, nothing telling us they are thinking about coming or planning to and are looking for other deals. So do we order enough stuff for them all and then they don't come? I already have ordered a bunch of stuff and now if they come we won't have enough! Argh!!!

Krista B....I hope you are feeling better by today! The cough that comes with that bronchitis...

Susie...brothers. What more can I say. LOL....your are too funny...."getting up close and personal with a pole".... poor woman, she probably thinks she looks hot! It is really nice of you to include her in your Christmas dinner. Not eveyone out there would be so generous and kind. You are a sweetie.

Diane - welcome!

Okay everyone.....now that I have posted what 4? with this one....I am at work all weekend. So MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you from one Crazy Canadian to all the other February 2010 Brides. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends! smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
