Sue- I don't think your diet plan sounds like much fun, I hate being sick. :o(

Shells- I hope that you love all of your photos-- We will be excited to hear about them.

Tricia- Baking cookies just sounds dangerous!

Timberly- I am SOOOOO sorry you are stuck in Vegas because of the terrible weather in NYC. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that you can get out of there.

Thanks so much for the congrats and well wishes. We both managed to get on a flt back to NYC tonight. We are so excited to be married and even more excited to be home! We had a great time! We gambled a little, walked the strip a little and got drunk and had fun together even more.

Shells-"saving ourselves?" Uum, err NO! Lol

Congratulations Timberly... Drunk in Vegas with you husband sounds like a good time!

Susie, its good to be a cheap date! I havent had a drink in about a week bc of dieting... 10 pounds in 6 weeks, do you think I can do it? The FI bought me nutrasystem for the last weeks up until the wedding as I have been terrible at dieting, am injured so cant work out that hard and it is Christmas time! We are staying home and going to dance lessons on Christmas day (my parents will be up north with my bro and his kids)... no big food. I get 5 small cardboardish meals a day.. worth it if I can wear this super cute dress I got this weekend (its white for the club after the wedding)

Also all of the baking is pretty much done here... (I love to bake as well) I am going to make the dog some biscuits so I can bake but without the temptation... and a few sausage rolls for the FI at work this week (schools out so we are off of work for 2 whole weeks)

Are you guys doing a planning thread? I cant imagine being well put together enough to get it done, but less than 2 months from now it will all be done and I can hardly believe it.

PS the dance video is good motivation for my diet- that camera definitely adds 10 lbs- even our instructor looks heavy.

My friend was supposed to fly to St. Louis from NYC and drive to KC to visit us, but since her flight was canceled she has no time for the detour to KC. sad.gif Dang weather!! I'm glad you made in home safely though! Better to be stuck at home than stuck on the other side of the country that's for sure!

I considered not drinking (after New Years of course) until we leave for our trip just to get bikini ready, but I'm afraid I'll be too much of a light weight come Mexico if I do that! :)

That is a great idea...I have baked for the pups in the past. I have this one recioe that is cheese and wheat germ which they love! I should make some for them and then I won't be remotely tempted to eat them! If I am at least they would be good for me....lol....the perfect diet...home made dog cookies! Ummmm ... not!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
