Ok i have to vent to you ladies.... i just came from walmart I was buying a chair for my son for xmas... He lives in my basement and my hope is if i give him enough furniture one day he will move away. keep dreaming right?

This chair is in a huge box and it is 26kg, so i am looking around for help getting it on a flat bed and to the cash. I find this lady that works there, my guess is she is 65 years old. she pages for assistance 5 times for me and no one shows. I find a flat bed myself and her and I are hauling this box on the flat bed. We get to cash and I pay for the chair and i am off to get my car. I hear the page for carry out... my car is a fair hike away, so I figure by the time I get back to the front doors there will be help to get this chair in the car. Nope I get there and here is the walmart granny standing in the cold waiting to help me load the chair.

Ok with a little musle we get the chair in the car and the hatchback closed. I thank this poor sweet lady a hundred times over. I get in my car and is about to pull away when I see two strapping young male walmart employees not 2 feet from the front of my car puffing their brains out. oh steam is coming out of me... i get out of the car and say to them, "did you just see your older coworker struggling to help me put that chair in my car"? I am yelling now... "she is like 65 years old and she didn't even have a coat on and it -15 out". how could you just stand there? They both replied " we're on break having our smoke." OK I was seeing red!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am calling to complain once I calm down.

I am looking forward to having one.....sometime in the new year! I like doing things like thank you cards, but I am just finally finishing the invites...then will have shower thank yous...and shortly after wedding thank yous! Holy that is going to be a lot of cards!

As for that skinny machine....*sigh* please sign me up! I have been doing the "oh I have 4 onths" and so on....now there is two! Yikes! I think it is good I am working over Christmas this year....I won't graze all day long on food and wine....oh sweet sweet wine. I wish I could have some now, but go figure I am at work! LOL

Susie - that is awful! Not a big surprise in this day and age, but still so wrong!

No big plans this weekend...working...nights.....

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
