Chris--- I am so glad that you joined the comfy feet for the wedding club. I wore my silver and white reef fanning sandals all over my bridal shower and even opened up a couple beers for people throughout the day with them!

We weren't suppose to sell off our first 3 children and the house to fund the wedding... uh oh... i better go have a talk with justin! lol

I am wondering if it would be that expensive to ship to Ontario, I sent a box of 24 flip flop luggage tags to Ohio and it wasn't more than $14.00.. The price you gals got for those pashminas is totally amazing... Is that the pashminas that Timberly is holding in her hand.... the colour is so beautiful.
Hi Susie! Yes, that is the pashmina it is a 70% pashmina and 30% silk blend!! Very nice when it is open, it has a subtle design on it that makes it look much more expensive that what it really is. They have amazing colors, blues, greens, yellows shades of red, orange, any pretty color that you can imagine!

Yes, they had baby blue, navy blue, royal blue..which ever you like hot momma! wink.gif. I will post a pic of the ones i have. I have apple red, chocolate brown and ivory (my wedding colors :)) I bought 4 of each and because I mixed the blends (silk and pashmina 8 of 12) my total cost was $29.

There is a US post office flat rate box that ships to Canada also if I am not mistaken. 12 pashminas can be folded/rolled to fit into this box. I folded one up really small over night to see how they would wrinkle. They wrinkle pretty bad, but can be steamed ( hung on a hanger while you run a hot shower lol) to look new again. The packages that they come in can be folded and put into the box as well. It is definitely worth it to ship it this way. Let me know which ones and how many and we can make this work!!

Whoo hoo, just did a little bit of research.. the flat rate box is $10.95 and can fit 12 pashminas with no problem and a few key chains :). I also looked in my purse and found a card from the store (when I find great deals I collect their business cards and write notes to myself on the back of them) here it is :) http://www.Pioneergroup27.com the color I have is called wine.. I really love it , it matches my bridesmaid dresses perfectly! the color number is 018-31. they do have a really pretty baby blue Susie

I think the pashima idea is great... I told my mom I got her one and she was all smiles (hope that is indicative of what other will feel)... I paid 3.75 each for them sad.gif... it was the cheapest I could find online without buying a gross.

Re Cold Mexican appetizers- racking my brain on that one, so much so that I am looking in my Mexican food cookbook... salsa and guacamole(of course)... seven layer dip? olives?, mini tostadas (little fried corn tortillas with salad and meat in them), ceviche (mmmm thats what you should have lovely!)... I cant think of anything else... its the cold part thats the hang up... sorry!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
