Susie- I hate those days when you can't sleep-- I go through them a lot lately as we get closer and closer to the wedding. I don't get to go home for another 4 days and I am so ready to be back home so I know how miserable it is when you want someone to be there! Hope you find some great deals shopping today- have fun!

Hello ladies:)

Does anyone else find that they love their job, but at this particular point it is getting in the way of socail obligations like being on this thread? wink.gif

So got tons done! MOH dresses here and so are the Flower Girl dresses! Yippee...got a bunch of Christmas shopping done at the big mall....and work work work!

Susie - your dress looks so nice. You have nothing to worry about at all! It looks that great and you don't have your hair/makeup done...and of course the amazing sun and ocean there as well! You are going to look spectacular!

Jammies1234 - When I told our photographer the wedding was at 3pm, she said that should work....and when I told her we had a couple hours for photos because dinner was at 6...she told me the sun would be down shortly after 5pm...we might make it till 520pm. Don't know if that helps, but since she lives there, thought I would pass along her comments.

FutureMrGoodRich...I had a hard time loading photos too. One of the girls on another thread told me how. Create a free account in Photobucket online and then you upload the photos on there. Then on the bottom there is a IM address...copy that address and paste it here in the comments section. In theory your photos will then load.

Hi Brooke,
Yeah it's been a long week, I have had the stepdaughter to deal with too and that has been tough going. Just keeping my mouth shut and dad can deal with it when he gets home. I went back to bed this morning and slept 4 hours so I am good for a day off shopping.

I actually tried to upload onto photobucket the other day (in frustration)and was unable... I am going to try again now and hope that we just had a putzy connection that day.

I know that some of you guys are Riviera Maya,... I saw on the for sale blog, someone selling insulated mugs for cheap that had Riviera Maya (no date, says to have and to hold, to keep your drink cold) on them- the girls last post was on 11/23 and sais she still had them... they looked nice, 10 for 20$? (her name is Rach220)

Also I dont know if yall are wearing veils but I read somewhere a day or 2 ago that its smart to bring small fishing weights to put on the veil to prevent it from blowing too much in case of wind... ya know sometimes the beach is windy... thought it was random and potentially helpful so passing it on.

And TeNeil, I am sooo sorry abt your missing engagement ring! Mine needs down sizing and cant bring myself the drop it off to do it... your story doesnt help my case for getting it resized. I hope you will get it back soon!

FutureMrsMoulton,

I was given the name and contact info for my wedding coordinator at the resort but she is on holidays until November 30th so it's not much help...Hopefully she emails me back sometime this week so I can start confirming things like which gazebo and what not...

Have you heard anything?

Not really but my travel agent has been in touch with them a lot for me. She is going to be fighting for our free cocktail hour and stuff for us. I just want to get the flower brochures and start to give my dad a price estimate for all the little extras involved. I will be ordering a ton of rose petals to scatter, but they are horribly expensive there so I am bringing my own!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
