Oh my I'm busy at work and home for a little bit and 6 pages pass by!! I had my first wedding shower on the weekend (my mom is leaving at the end of the year for 3 months in FL so it was the only chance she had to throw one). I do not like being the center of attention so it was kinda hard, but all went well. Ugg not much else has been planned. FI needs his clothing and we need rings. I have to head to DC for the rest of the week, but once I'm back he's getting a butt kicking!!

Vday I know the stresses girl! Just make out a list in order of priority and every day work on the #1 until its done and #2 until its done and it will be all over before you know it.

Susie- Im a flight attendant so I am all for meeting up, but can we pick somewhere warmer than the middle of the atlantic ocean? that just sounds chilly!

Last week when I got back from buying my shoes.... I was saying to my friends, well, I've got my dress, my ring, my shoes, my passport... I said- ''well, I'm getting married... don't know about the FI!'' LOL I keep joking at this rate we'll have to Skype him in to his own wedding.

I am hoping the flowers turn out pretty. Let me try to link up the picture that was my inspiration (although real flowers would have been nicer... and more $$$)

... k, just tried to link the picture and can't! It's a flash site... Anyway, if you are interested, go to my photographer's website: Flash Portfolio | Top Mexico Photographers | Mexico Destination Wedding Photographer Samuel Luna There is a picture of white chairs with gerbera daisies in the 'Truthful' portfolio. That's what I am trying to recreate. I picked orange and fuscia because my bridesmaid dresses are coral.

That was too much information wasn't it? LOL

For our invites we are going with Ana's bording pass invites:

I haven't ordered them yet! Gotta drop Ana a line tonight to see if it can happen! LOL

Great job girl! Now give us the tracking number so we know you actually mailed it!!! Just Kidding! LOL

vdaybride... hang in there! We've all been there!
I agree with FutureMsMoulton...Make a prioritized list. Hang it on your fridge so your FI can see it too! When my FI asked me why I was so stressed out a few months ago, I made a list of all the things that needed to be done. Then I took about 4 of those things and signed them over to him (ex: GM clothes, DJ, friends that need to rsvp yet, GM gifts). He has 3 out of the 4 done now! I still have like 25 to do but I'm taking baby steps and my family in Michigan is really helping out too (I live in China).

It all takes time! You can't get everything done in a week. Just pace yourself and know that things will fall in place and maybe reward yourself with a glass of wine when each task gets completed!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
