Anyway this girl took a post dated cheque which we never do and she cleaned and I deposited the cheque and it was returned.
This business is something I did on the fly, I left my job as a youth crisis worker (I have a Masters in child physcology) about a year and half ago, "burn out" and I haven't looked back since. Go figure!!!

We arrive on Sunday and are getting married Thursday, so we should be okay. I am finding it hard to feel confident with some plans when all I've received is an email. Oh well, I'm sure everything will work out!
We are arriving on Wens at 1 pm and they need 3 full business days to process your bloodwork. Heads up-- there is some rule about being divorced before and it you are pregnant they won't marry you. Also make sure you are STD free cause they won't marry you. I was like...well not that I am worried about that but WOW!!

There is that rule but it you are pregnant and recently divorced then they won't allow you to marry in mexico... something like that... I don't know I've never been married so I didn't worry about reading the fine lines on that one. After reading over it all my FI and I looked at each other and said... Lets just go to Vegas-- its a quick get the piece of paper for $60 walk across the street to the justice of the peace pay them the $55 and its done-- you are legally married in under 3 hrs and for the grand price of $115!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
