Yeah... Feb 2/10 here and kinda freaked out a little when I hit the 5 month mark yesterday... damn I can count the months on one hand.

We have clothes for our kids ordered on their way (hopefully arrive today)

My Honey has his clothing

My dress is in production..... flowy gown/scared I may look like a clown Photo

Have stuff for DIY centrepieces ordered on the way

Got the rings

Got the thank you gifts in production and will arrive in a week or two.

starting to plan details with the wedding coordinator - she is actually easy to communicate with ... doing the email thing

I have had a few glasses of wine to calm me down.. Good Luck Ladies!!! remember you now have a handful of months to plan that day.

Well I have my dress and jewellry. Have a couple of photographers in mind. Shoes I am going to wait on. I really need to find a cheap dress for my TTD session because we are having a reception back home 3 weeks after we return. I have no clue if I should take decorations with me at all lol. FI and I are pretty simple people and I am sure they decorate stuff nicely there. I have his ring picked out just need to pick it up lol and bridesmaids dresses are next. Havent seen anything that really caught my eye. Wow I still have lots too do. Gulp

I am having a big wedding...we are expecting about 130 people. So we've been super busy coordinating everyone!

I don't think I am wearing shoes. I want to go barefoot. Maybe I'll get sandals or flats for the reception since you won't see them anyway. I just want to be comfortable.

I love your dress! I think it's perfect for a beach wedding.

And I agree...wine is definitely a great stress reducer!

Hey ladies,

We are getting married February 18, 2010!

We have yet to arrange anything other than our flights and resort. I haven't even sent out invites for our DW. YIKES.......

We just finalized our date yesterday, so now we need to get down to business. I hear that wedding dresses can take months to get in, so that is next on my list.

I am super excited to organize the details over the next 5 months!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
