Happy Monday Everyone!!

Susie - things do not sound fun around there? I hate being in the middle of things, but I usually am. Sorry to hear about all of that.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Oh and Chris - FB keeps trying to get me to like Justin Timberlake because you like him ha ha ha I keep pressing that x, but it keeps popping up!!

So let's get everyone back involved with this forum (for those who have time, which I do). I'm not sure if this has been done, if it has I'm sorry but I can't remember. Where did you meet your hubby? My story is kinda different. My parents and his parents are really good friends, but we didn't meet until 7 or so years ago. We kept coming across each other and I thought he was very good looking, but we were never in the right place. My mom told me that he was working at the same place as me so I dropped him a line to say hi. I get an email back saying...I'm really sorry to say this but I don't remember who you are ha ha ha ha ha I have never laughed so hard. Finally after several emails he figured it out. We would meet for lunch, but again - things weren't right because he had a gf. He found out not long after that she cheated on him, but he said he wasn't too upset about it because he wasn't really that into her. And that's how it all started. Funny thing is I keep telling him that I've known his parents longer than him (I'm 3 years older) ha ha ha

Krista -- cute story!

The story of how my husband and I met: I was travelling through Europe with two friends of mine in 1999 and we were in London at a hostel when one of my friends, who's a huge U2 fan, saw a guy wearing a U2 shirt. She went up to him and started talking, and after a few minutes, was like "you have to meet my friend Tesia, you guys would get along great." Well, a couple of days later, we were sitting in the dining area of the hostel, when this same guy came in. My friend recognized him and introduced him to me. We definitely hit it off. Too bad we were going in separate directions the next day -- us to France, him to Wales. Fate stepped in, because we ran into each other again in Dublin a week later. Again, we were staying at the same hostel. He walked through the door one evening, and I was like "I know you!" We hung out all night, then exchanged contact info. We kept in touch over the summer, tried the long-distance dating thing (I was in Minnesota, he was in Alberta), didn't really work, but kept in touch over the years. Finally, in 2006, I admitted to myself this was the guy I really wanted to be with, and we started dating again. I moved up to Alberta in 2007 to be with him, and the rest is history...

Hi ladies!!! I'm back!! It was an absolutely amazing day!!! I just keep closing my eyes and remembering the feeling when I walked outside and towards the gazebo and I saw everyone standing there waiting for me, with the blue of the ocean and Sean was looking at me, tears in his eyes - it was AWESOME! :) It was really funny though cause i got up there and poor guy was dripping sweat! LOL!

I don't have many pics yet, just a few that Sean managed to snap of me before we headed out for the party, my guests took a bunch, but nobody has posted them to our photobucket account yet. sad.gif I hope they post them soon cause I want to see and I'm sure you ladies want to see them too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
