Ugh Brooke I'm so sorry to hear about you being sick! That sucks! I know what you mean about those crazy dreams, I've had those before, where I woke up still mad at Sean, even though he did nothing...lol! Then I tell him what "he" did in my dream and he goes "ahhhh, now I understand" lol!

 

Are you getting a belly bump yet? How's the crazy busy life going? Has it slowed down at all?

 

Chris - it's hard to stay motivated for the gym when you feel sick and bloated, try to hang in there girl! I can't wait to see your slideshow!!! How are things at work with annoying preggers coworker?

Brooke- Sorry to hear that the meds didn't treat you well! How is everything going? Are you showing? I can't believe that you are 10 weeks already! Easy for me to say, huh?

 

Krista- I keep reading your FB comments about the snow and cold weather. I feel so bad for you! It's spring, dangit! Is that how it always is this time of the year where you live? July is coming up, girl!!!

 

Chris- I have been majorly slacking too!! I feel so bad because I was in great shape for the wedding and now I'm just so lazy and eat crappy. The other night it was my turn to host my book club and for dessert I made "Better Than Sex" cake. (name is disputable). It is so good and I've been eating left overs for the past 3 days. It's just drenched in calories. I was invited to a pool party fund raiser memorial day weekend though so I am going to try to hit it hard the next few weeks!! Happy Birthday to your hubby!

I am laughing my ass off!!!! We have 3 preggos now Oh how exciting!!!! I hope all my ladies are feeling wonderful... As you gals plan your families... my hubby and I are making arrangements for the big snip!!! Mark told me a couple days ago he is going to get it done because "We're Done"!!!! I think his daughter really has sent him over the edge!!!!

OH BTW she refused to wish me Happy mother's day... Instead she phoned friends and got their mothers on the phone and wished them instead..... When Mark confronted her about it she said " oh I am sure Sue won't loose any sleep over it".

 

Just wait she'll be asking for money soon to go to Taco Bell and I'll be telling her that "due to a recent lack of sleep". AH NO!!!!!!

ha ha ha just read Brooke's ticker - that's hilarious. Yes it feels great to have you girls to tell. The other day I was sitting at work and then all of a sudden I was like holy crap I'm pregnant - it was like I forgot. A girl in my sister's office gave her a month supply of prenatal vitamins for me. Sweet one less month I have to buy. ha ha ha

 

Chris - I'm excited to see your slideshow. The slideshow we used at the AHR was about 15mins so I think 20mins will be great. Happy Birthday to your hubby!! Whatever you were fighting about can be set aside for today. If you're still angry bring it back up tomomrrow ha ha ha

 

Krista - do you have almost everything ready for your wedding? It's coming up SO soon!!

The meds I'm on are for a uti that came up in my bloodwork and urine testing. I had no idea that I even had one but they say its common in pregnancy.

 

Girls give ur self a lil break we all worked out like mad women for the wedding. Not showing yet but my belly is getting firm. I think a week or two and I will be. I ordered my crib set from ebay tonight.

Tricia, how is the business going?

 

We are good down here, work will kick by behind for about 2 more weeks and then school is almost out and life gets easier. I actually put in my notice at work- well sort of, I am still going to do outpatient for them 2 days per week, and start up a private practice - knowing that that would be a perfect situation for a family. Most days I leave for work before Austin and get home after him and life is too short to spend it all working. So thats the big scary thing we are doing, but I am so happy, there is no way I would have been able to pull it off without Austin, wish us luck.

 

Only 2 more days til the weekend!!!

Tricia- i don't think you could look fat if you tried. but I get it. We all have to be comfortable in our own skin. I am hitting the gym tomorrow and going back to my original 4 days a week regime. My pants are snug today. Grrrr

 

Celebrated Eric's bday last night. A couple friends came over for an impromptu BBQ. Watched the hockey game (Mtl vs. Pit.) We won! I am actually not a Habs fan because I originally come from Victoria. The Vancouver Canucks have had my heart since I was a little girl. They got eliminated on Tuesday night so I am pretty bummed. Gotta cheer for the last standing Canadian team! this town really likes their hockey too, so I better get on board. I don't know if I told you guys, but my brides maids gift to me was a Vancouver Canucks garter. Sooo cute. You'll see it in the pics. Slideshow should be up by the weekend! I am really happy with it. makes all the difference in the world to weed out the bad ones. I could have cut it back even more but I wanted there to be plenty of pictures of everyone who attended as well.

Now I have to get on with the album making. My parents are coming in July and want to have their album ready by then. I did a test album through Photobook Canada. It should arrive any day now. They were having a 40% off sale so I ordered one of their smaller inexpensive books to see how their quality is. If I like it, they have another 50% off sale until the end of May.... Gotta get cracking! I want better quality than snapfish and similar types but without having to pay hundreds. This place is really expensive without the discounts so we'll see.

 

Krista- you must be getting sooo excited! I can't wait to see pics of you in your dress and hear all about it.

Susie- Ahhh how I've missed the step daughter stories. They always make me laugh.

 

Brooke- UTI's are horrible. Ugh! Hope it's better!

 

Alison- The practice is going great. I'm taking my first pay check on Monday so I'm excited about that. Not a large paycheck, but a paycheck none the less. Don't like working for free! It's been great and Tony is doing all of my book keeping, which takes that stress off of me! He's been doing great and is a big help. Let's me concentrate on the dentistry part. It's so exciting that you are starting yoru own practice as well!! It is great for future baby plans. You get to set your own hours and work as little or as much as you want. I plan to just work 4 days a week so that will give me a lot of time off for my future family. The only sticky situation is going to be maternity leave. Most other women I know that own their own practices take off only 2 or 3 weeks, which is a total bummer, but not much I can do about that. I can't make my patients wait 8-12 weeks with no dental care. I'm hoping to get a temp so that maybe I could take off 4, but most people have their own jobs so there's not a lot available. Oh well, I have time to figure that out I guess. I'm always at lease 9 months away from having to make those decisions! Congrats again!!

 

Chris- Glad to hear that Eric's birthday went well! Can't wait to see your slide show.

 

Ok, I am such a nerd and definitely miss the wedding stuff. Last night Tony and I were watching Modern Family (cracks us up) and they had a vow renewal on the beach and I all of a sudden had tears rolling down my face. Tony looked over at me and said "Are you crying?!?" I said I can't help it. It reminds me of our wedding and it was just so perfect. He just laughed at me and said Yes, it was perfect wasn't it.

Yeah Montreal!! I'm not a Habs fan at all, but I'm happy a Canadian team is still in it.

 

Tricia - good thing you're not in Canada then cause we get a year off!! Woohoo I'm looking forward to that let me tell you!!

 

I still haven't told my parents and I'm feeling really bad about that for some reason. I think I might tell them soon. I'm just worried because my mom is always worried about money and she had a small cow when we bought our truck because we had just bought the house and then we're going to get married. We both work and have good jobs!! You'd think at my age she would have been able to let go...she still refers to me as her baby. ha ha ha ha I just want them to be happy for us, but I'm worried about what she's going to say. Guess I won't know until I do.

Tricia - That's awesome that you are doing so well! I'm sure things will pick up soon, as people talk about how awesome you are!!

 

Krista - I have the same concerns about telling my mom about stuff - she's very judgemental when it comes to how I spend my money, so usually I don't tell her about my finances - what I make, buy, spend, etc.

 

Sue - good to hear from you!! Sad that stepdaughter is still being such a b*tch, but you definitely know how to play the game with her! Your stories are hilarious!

 

Ali- glad to hear that everything is going well for you too~!!

 

There's so much happiness and excitement with all our Feb brides! It's awesome!

 

My wedding planning is coming along, I got my rings in! YAY! And I think my ceremony is finally planned, but have to have Sean look it over. Still have to get his ring and outfit - he's such a slacker! JK! He's been so busy with his new fancy job, he doesn't have much time for wedding planning. I told him there's only 7 weekends left to get stuff done and he quickly replied, okay, next weekend is you and me babe...and wedding shopping!

 

I need to start on my vows too! YIKES!

 

I'm having a hard time finding a present for my MOH, she's not very girly, very picky about stuff, doesn't wear any jewellery, already has like 30 bottles of perfume, etc. I thought about getting her a clutch, but she would never use it...any ideas
