Krista- it's crazy dark here today too. :s

Timberely- good on you for getting your money back. And personally, I wouldn't stop until you got both nights paid. It's not like you didn't just show up because of your own reasons. This was out of your control, so they have to have special clauses for that.

Erica- nice to hear from you again! Don't worry too much, I am not pregnant yet either wink.gif Actually I was saying to my girlfriend this morning, that things really happen for a reason, and I don't deserve to be pg yet. I haven't been taking proper care of myself. Yeah I go to the gym, yeah I eat well, but we have really been partying ALOT. So I am kicking the booze habit and trying to remember my folic acid. I am sure it will be our turn in the next couple months. In the mean time I want to concentrate on getting my house renos done so that when I am pregnant I can relax and concentrate on incubating! HAHA

Guys- I am addicted to crappy reality TV. My husband is always on my case how I can watch such crap. BUT, I am addicted to this show on MTV called ''16 and Pregnant''. I shouldn't admit this but I am. It's like a train wreck... you know you shouldn't be watching but... Anyways... that show is interesting but angers me! I really shouldn't watch it, lol It seems to have replaced my obsession with ''Say Yes to the Dress''. haha At least my crappy TV watching is progressing in the same direction as my life!

I am hoping this week my pictures will be ready!! I want to get my thank-you cards done already. Have any of you sent out yourshuh.gif

So my "monthly gift" came 4 days early this month...no wonder we didn't get pregnant ha ha ha ha Oh well like Chris said everything happens for a reason and now I don't have to worry about trying to fool people at the reception.

Oh Chris I watch that too. It's the worst show out there, but I still sit there and watch it...well actually I PVR it ha ha ha ha that's even worse!! It's to the point where I want to reach through the screen and knock their heads together. My cousin is a year younger than me and already has 4 kids...she started when she was 16 because she wanted to quit school and move out on her own. My aunt has custody of 2 of them...ya she's a great mom who to this day still gets kicked out of apartments for not paying rent and she's 32, no job, etc. Oh I could go on and on...

Well, I am more ghetto than you LOL... I still have a VCR and recorded the end of yesterdays because I was too tired to stay up.

I even watched the spinoff series Teen Mom. I think the most responsible of all of them were the two that gave their baby up for adoption. Last season, not this season. The two that did this season were totally bullied into it by her parents. That was horrible.

Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, back to work I guess. So what division are you in Krista at RIM that has you traveling all over?

VCR?? Okay you win ha ha ha I watched last season too...it's a train wreck, you can't help but watch.

I work in patents, but it's really difficult to tell you what I do ha ha ha ha The reason I travel so much is that my team is based in Texas. This FL trip is for a 4-hour meeting sad.gif

Oh Timberly that is crap! You stand your ground and keep pushing!! It's really terrible that you have to deal with that when it's your wedding. You think these people would think about the situation and think hey, it's your wedding, maybe we should be considerate and flexible. It seems like they are only happy when they are pissing somebody else off! Jeez!

Chris- I love that show too. I have to agree with Krista its a train wreck that you have to watch. I soooo want to slap Farrah every time I see her.

Timberly- I call BS on them not refunding your money due to inclement weather. I would totally dispute it too once you get the first check!

Thanks for all of the congrats-- We have our 1st appt on may 3rd! Which seems so far away.

Erica-Good to hear from you! Glad your mini-vation went well! I's great that you guys get to travel to such neat places.

Chris- A VCR?!?! :)

Timbery- I sure hope you prevail on this fight! That's ridiculous!

Nothing too exciting going on with me. I'm going to Minnesota this weekend for a fundraiser and that's pretty much the highlight of my week! Counting down the minutes until work is over...

I'm going to try to finish my review and get that up too. It's looong overdue!

Awww Krista! AF sucks sometimes... but now you can start over and get back in that bedroom! Ha-ha! My hubby loves all the babymaking attention he is getting. He was singing that 50 cent song to me the other day "Have a baby by me, baby" he is so silly sometimes! I have been drinking tons of water so I have to use the bathroom like every 30 min. I'm getting my exercise just running back and forth to the bathroom! We are going to start working out hardcore next week. I've gained 4 pounds since the wedding and I want to shed that. Has anyone else gained?

Chris - you should check out BabyCenter | Homepage - Pregnancy, Baby, Toddler, Kids I'm addicted to their forum "Actively Trying" hopefully it will be our turn soon. Have you started your prenatal vitamins yet? I started last summer to get used to them. I also take Vitamin D. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us!

I wish I could watch that 16 and pregnant show! I heard it was really addicting! Maybe I can dial it up online. Hmmmm... I've been addicted to watching DWTS since they offer full episodes online. We only have a few english tv stations and I'm really missing the reality tv!

Erica- thx for the link, but I think right now I'll pass on any baby forums. I think a TTC thread would just annoy me. Honestly, the last thing I want to read about right now is ''oh we've been trying for over a year'' or similar horror stories like that. I prefer the happiness joy joy of Sabrina and Brooke's first try stories! LOL But seriously, I don't want it to consume any more of my brain than it already is. Once there is a baby on the way then maybe, but not right now.

If it makes you feel any better, I gained 4 lbs too. lol That's just because I took a vacation from the gym for 5 weeks (incl. my time on vacation). But I have been back on track for the last few weeks and with the added no booze, I am sure it'll melt away soon enough.

The only pre-natal vitamins I am on is 1mg of folic acid a day. That's all my doctor recommended. I suppose I should take a multi-vitamin as well, but we eat really healthy. Lot's of fruits and veggies so I am probably covered.

Ok, the boss just got in, I better get busy.

I have a question for all you married ladies! I was thinking about this last night and I have no idea if I sign the marriage certificate with my current last name, or my new last name?? Did anyone practice what their new signature would look like. I know, I know...it's silly, but this is what I think about at night - random things! Also, I had the idea to have punch bowls as centerpieces for my AHR, that way we can have punch for everyone (some tables will have bright green lemon lime punch) and others will have bright red berry punch), I'm also going to add frozen fruit to keep it cold and to add colour/decoration to it. I think it will go with the beach/mexican theme. What do you think?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
