I forgot to add.. To the rest of you ladies who are trying to get preggo, please relax and don't stress yourselves too much. Stress + baby making= not a good combination. As hard as it is to do, try to relax and take it easy so you can enjoy the process of trying wink.gif. Good vibes to you!

Chris- It's about freaking time, huh?!? And they look great!! I hope you get the rest soon!

Timberly- It looks like you guys had a great vacation!!

Brooke- I can't wait to hear the results! Even if it's a no (for now) I still love how we all keep each other up to date and it's so exciting to hear about this stage of everyone's life as well!!

Shell- i agree...I absolutely LOVE being married!!! Life isn't much different, but I just love the feeling knowing that we are "official"!! And lemon cake is one of my faves!

Although hubby and I aren't trying to get pregnant right now, I did take my last BC pill on Friday. It may sound weird, but there was something liberating about knowing that it was my last one. I have had an alarm set on my phone for the past 5+ years to remind me to take it everyday at 5:30 and I got to turn that off for the first time! I am not a medication person AT ALL so it was great to get to stop!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday!!

I am so glad I got back on this site after a long absence....

Congrats, Sabrina! So exciting for you and your hubby!

Ironically, I was pretty darn sure I was pregnant 2 weeks ago. For more than a week, I was nauseous, tired, crampy. Turned out to be a false alarm. I had mixed emotions, you know? Just like the rest of you gals are saying, I decided I can't get so worked up and stressed out. We'll keep trying and when it happens, it happens.

We just got our wedding pictures back last week and I'm soooo happy with them! I've been enjoying looking through them and sharing them with family and friends. Next comes the task of deciding which ones to get extra prints/enlargements of.

Trying to plan 2 "receptions" as well -- one here in Alberta, one back in my home state of Michigan. We're keeping it really low-key, backyard-BBQ style. We want both events to be more like a family reunion or summer party, not an actual wedding reception.

Congats again, Sabrina! And Brooke -- keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Hi Ladies-- It was POSITIVE!!!! It was so funny I took the test and we were just standing around the kitchen talking and Justin finally looked at me and said- How much longer do we have to wait. I said-- Oh I didn't even check to see what time I took it! Opps. He went in and got a big grin and said "We're pregnant!!" I have to say its not perfect timing with the move and the AHR, but we are pretty pumped and now most of the big expenses will be over in the same year for insurance wise -- Due in Mid December (I'm thrifty! lol) Thanks for all the positive thoughts-- I will keep thinking of happy positive thoughts for all of you trying to get preggers. I was thinking about the baby thread, but honestly we are all so connected on here and still talk on here so much do we really need one?

Chris- The teasers look great! I can't wait to see more-- of course you didn't agree to get teasers in 6 weeks you wanted the albums!!

Susie- Thanks for taking one of the team and having some wine for me too lol.

Shells-- Agreed I LOVE married like when I am home. I've been gone a ton so that way I can be around for the move and reception, but nothing is better than waking up with your husband!

Timberly- We have to get together and do some cute baby shopping when we find out what we are having in a couple months.... cause hey its what we do best! :o) Hope to see you soon

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
