Krista H-Phew! That was a close one, I am glad you didn't have to deal with that!

Krista B-Yes, pregnancy is contagious around my work. the joke is not to drink the water. Two of the ladies directly in my office are pregnant due in two months. And yes, you have a wedding dress to fit into :)

Chris-You can email me at the nyu.edu email address, I work for Columbia U now, so that one is for friends and family now too :)

I am in my 6th week. It is calculated many different ways, but the Expectant book uses the first day of your last menstrual cycle to count up to 40 weeks for delivery. So I am 6 weeks out of 40 using that calculation. I am technically only 4 weeks pregnant (since ovulation). Again, using that calculation, my due date would be Nov 29th. But, I have a dr appt on the 12th so we will see. It is all a bit confusing, especially since different sites use some different calculations. And yes, we got pregnant 16 days after the wedding...never expected that one!

It's cute to hear how excited all of you are, and I am happy I could share with you all. I feel like I am ready to burst because only my mom and sis and we know...

Brooke, you have me all excited for you! Wow!

And yes, nervous and excited all at the same time. One minute I am so elated, the next I am in tears wondering what the heck we were thinking. They are not kidding when they say emotions are on a rollercoaster! I forgot, the only other symptom I am now having is heart fluttering/palpitations, due to increase blood flow...And

good luck with the AHR, the good thing is you won't have gained any weight by then. You could always do the mock drinks that make it look like you are drinking or blame it on a strong dose of antibiotics that you are supposedly taking that will upset your stomache if you drink(it's only partly a lie)-both of these have worked for me so far!

Brooke- you have 400 people coming to your AHR? huh.gif I don't think I even know 400 people. LOL What a party! Drink soda and lime and people will think you are having a vodka tonic, or always have a glass of wine or beer in your hand and pretend to drink it. No one will be the wiser. wink.gif I hope you are pregnant. I can't believe WE have to wait until next week, LOL That being said you better tell us.

Sabrina- I totally get what you mean about being happy and OMIGOD all at the same time. I wish I were pregnant right now, but then on the other hand... it's such a step that I can wait a little longer. I just wish I could look into a crystal ball and have someone tell me it'll happen, so then I could just relax and take it in stride.

Anyways, I have my usual PMS cramps so not this month!

Aw Brooke that sucks that you have to wait, but yes you must wait for Justin. I'm trying to figure out if I should take the test early because I'm going to FL or wait till I get back.

So Chris...pictures or a butt kickin?? Tell your photog he has his pick ha ha ha ha

Hi ladies,

Brooke! You are so patient! I don't know if I could wait, but I agree you definitely should! Did you stop taking your BC before the wedding or after? If you really are pregnant Justin has earned his nickname!! :)

I can't believe the first bride is pregnant!!!

I haven't hardly seen any pics from my reception, but I did see this one of my cake. I was so preoccupied that night I barely got to check it out. When I saw the pic I just thought it was so gorgeous if I do say so myself!!

Honestly being able to talk about it with all u guys is the only thing keeping me sane. Justin and I had a long talk and he is super excited to do the test and then if its positive then start reading a weeke by week development book together. Cute!!

Sabrina- are u going to find out the sex?

Krista- thank god u got back before the airline went under which one was it?

Othe krista- don't catch the baby bug, we all plan on being there to see u a radiating bride! Even with a big belly. We rented a hockey arena to hold everyone and plan on having beerpong and beanbags going! That's a WI wedding for ya!

Sabrina... I am so excited for you and you let me know a colour asap!!!! I will have that blanket off to you... My girlfriend is so excited.. She is already to go.. Brooke- are you feeding all these people?? I have to admit, 400 people, private party, hockey arena, beer pong LOL sounds like a blast! Tell me where and when, I might just how up. haha

Tricia- LOVE the cake, super gorgeous. I'll bet you'll get your reception pictures back before I get my wedding ones, haha. Ok, I'll stop whining.

but Krista- I love how you knew what I was talking about on Facebook. He is my Facebook friend so I have to be descreet. However, if I don't hear from him today I am going to be very upset. 6 weeks is in his contract and today is 6 weeks!

Sabrina- thanks for the encouragement, and last month when my cramps started I convinced myself it was pregnancy symptoms. Not this month. I can't do that to myself every month. Anyways, I think I'll know. You know? Women's intuition and this ain't the month. But it's cute because with every passing month, my husband seems more on board and actually excited. You guys have to understand, he's 5 years younger than me so he's still a youngen 30 yr old, but he's known the deal for years. AND don't get me wrong, he wants, I am certainly not forcing him... but when is a guy ever 100% ready you know? One of his closest friends is going to be a dad in a couple weeks, and a couple of his co-workers just became dads this year. Actually, funny story, when I came to work yesterday I had an email in my inbox from a name I didn't recognize... well it was Eric's co-worker who just had a baby boy in Feb. he sent me a bunch of pictures with the message: Eric wants a baby too. LMAO too cute!

Although, we made a deal last night that if for whatever reason I am not pregnant by July... we are booking a last minute trip to Paris for the first week of September. I needed something positive to focus on instead of feeling 'crap, I am not pregnant'. LOL

I guess I better get to work guys... OH WAIT!! Who was it here that was eating Easter Peepshuh.gif? Sabrina or Brooke! Anyways, so funny story, last night I couldnt sleep. I was starving and it kept me awake so I decided to get up and grab a bowl of cereal (I never do this btw, so don'T judge!). Anyway, the point of my story is, at 2:30am I am sitting in my living room eating cereal watching the Colbert Report. LOL He did this whole segment on this lady who started a lawsuit against her landlord because she hung Easter Peeps on her door and they made her take them down. It was hilarious, you have to youtube it. Soooo I now can officially say we so do not have Easter Peeps in Canada. They look yummy though!!!

TGIF girls. Holiday tomorrow. AND Happy April Fools!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
