Krista, Im a dork- I went and looked on your FB and remembered right away that I have already looked at them... and they are beautiful... your dress is beautiful and I love the cheers with the little boy

 

As for the ttd, the photog had a specific idea... I was hoping to go into town or go for a hike/horseback ride, something... he wanted me to sit in the water with waves hitting me with the sunset, and use Austin's leg to help hold me up... so thats what we did... trouble is that it was the only evening that there wasnt much of a sunset... he said that there are a few worth looking at but not as he had hoped for... weather

 

I wish we had an AHR coming up! Our parties are all over!! We still have the honeymoon to go... June 15th we leave for Hawaii and Kauai for 8 days... getting married has been fun!!

Hi Ladies--

I am still alive and I have to agree with Timberly... I need to get my life back into shape (along with my body-- I've been eating everything now that my wedding is done.. keep forgetting about that April 24th have to wear the dress again!!)

Work has been chaos, picking colors and flooring and when to move stuff... UGH!

 

Erica- You are so funny with your planning for the baby... hopefully it happens soon. I am not that ambicious yet. I just know when AF is suppose to be here and if shes late then I'll start to wonder.

 

Chris-- I would be like WTF?!??! Where the #@($ are my pictures?!?! Start stalking him.

 

Krista- Your reception will be a blast and ice cream sounds fun.

 

July Krista- I am so bummed about you not being able to find a good group of the July girls to meet up with. We are all here to hear about your wedding and the ups and downs. I agree with Ali that you will forget that you had people who didn't show up.

 

Susie- I am happy you kept your house cause i plan on sitting poolside there at some point this summer )

 

Ali- I said it before and I will keep saying it over and over.. I love your photos. So cute and I am glad that I wasn't the only one that was crying.

Hi Ladies! I had a great weekend. Went to Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum with Sean and it was AWESOME! I absolutely am in love with Tim McGraw (Sean joked when he saw me all dolled up that I should remember him when I run away with Tim...lol! I told him that I'm cute, but I don't think I'm any match for Faith...lol!!!

 

Anyway, the trip was nice (2.5 hours driving), it gave us a chance to talk about lots of wedding stuff, since we are both so busy otherwise! We figured out out invite list for AHR, along with reception details for Mexico wedding, oh and my vistaprint order arrived!! YAY!! I ordered a bunch of free stuff (a t-shirt that says Soon to be Mrs. Allen and I love the Groom, a free tote bag, free postcards - to be used as welcome letters in OOTS bags, free pen, free business cards, which have a little saying on them and I am going to use to attach to the maraca favors, oh and magnets that say thank you for sharing our special day. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance.

 

Right now I am so busy with school semester ending and it's the busy time starting at my job, so it's a little hectic. I try to find time here and there to jump on the forum throughout the day while I'm at work to give my brain a rest.

 

Ali your pics are gorgeous! I think my favourite pics of a wedding are those ones before hand, where the bride is getting ready. There is so much anticipation and excitement in those pictures. It gives me tingles thinking about getting ready for my special day. Although on the day of the wedding, it will probably be more like stomach flip flops than tingles...lol!!

 

Chris - you need to definitely start stalking now! He promised end of the week! I don't like when people push deadlines, especially when you are paying for a service! Even a few pics that he has already done would be nice! Have you asked him to send even just a few teasers, or a few unedited ones?

 

I'm learning alot from you ladies about photos and making sure that I have ideas of what I want from my photographer and ensuring I will get my photos in a timely fashion! Thanks for all the advice! Keep it coming!!

Hey ladies, it has been awhile since I have logged on here, and so much to catch up on! I caught up on photos today, and I think they all look lovely! chris- I hope you get yours soon, I am sure they will be lovely! We had more gray clouds than you the day after, and they turned out just fine!

 

So, I haven't been on this site for awhile because I have been super busy, and researching other sites...For those of you worrying about trying to get preggo, don't worry, all I can say right now is-it may end up being easier than expected, relax, it will happen-TRUST ME!

Are you trying to tell us something with the TRUST you?? I am trying not to put to much into the pregnant thing, but I am now 2 days late with my period. I might just die a little after giving Justin so much crap about "You just think you can get everything on the first try" I mean seriously..... Who actually get pregant on the first try!?!?!? I will keep you all informed because I am back in NYC and I already decided not to take a test until I am back in Wisconsin with Justin (so not until after easter).

Here would be the other problem with being preggers now... our AHR is on April 24th. We already decided we want to wait to tell your famililes for that "just in case something happens in the first trimester" So how do I get around the drinking with our friends and family??

I am thinking the EXACT same thing...come on girlie fess up!! Brooke I was thinking the exact same thing about drinking at the AHR. I do drink a lot of water to begin with. I normally drink vodka and sprite so it won't be that hard to get just sprite, plus you'll probably be so busy that hopefully no one will notice.

We were at a Stag & Doe this weekend and I told Glenn that if any one bought me a drink he'd have to drink it. ha ha ha ha He has told me that he doesn't think I am...that it can't be that easy. I think he's just preparing for if I'm not so he's not too dissappointed.

Brooke- I used to think the way you did re. not telling people until after 3 months. But realistically, if something were to happen, I wouldn't want to go through it alone and would like the support of my close friends and family. Plus, I am honestly such an alcoholic since Christmas that like you (re. AHR) if I stopped drinking people will totally know anyway. I am certainly not going to shout it from the rooftops and the majority of people (like work, and colleagues) won't know until well... I am showing! I will tell those closest to me. It'll be pretty hard to keep secret. So.... two days late eh? Very interesting... and whether it's the first try or not, it only takes one try.

I haven't decided who I'm telling and when. I'm pretty superstitious, but...I always said I would want it to be a surprise, but now I want to know the sex. I definately won't be telling the SIL first!! ha ha We haven't had much contact since the wedding and I'm really okay with that.

 

I joined that site that Erica mentioned, but I had to join the Canadian version and honestly can't remember what the site was so I doubt I'll be keeping up with that. The one good thing is that we've all connected on FB so you can always hunt someone down that way. I'm good with continuing to post here when we have a chance.

You guys are the first people that I am telling-- I just don't know who I want to tell!! I am thinking of getting some alcohol free champange for the night and telling the bartender to just serve me that because I am worried about getting tipsy and drunk at my reception.

There are some very interesting things that are happening... maybe tmi-- by I was reading up on symptoms and i read that your boobs may hurt... Ummmm.... I'm thinking Yea-- I hear you there... OUCH even walking up and down steps.

I also want to find out the sex of the baby because I would get soooo sick of people asking me is it a boy or a girl because I only had lime green and yellow colors!!
