Timberly, your pictures are beautiful :)

Still waiting?! Chris!!! I am sure they will be fantastic!!

We got married on the 2/6 and got the pictures on 3/24- that's 6 weeks and 4 days of waiting (if that gives anyone else a timeline??)... Sounds like everyone has to wait ... Krista, did you get yours?

We finally got ours this week... honestly, I am kind of disappointed, there arent many of Austin and I with guests, some guests arent even included at all, only a few of the kids... very few of guests turning and smiling at the camera... its like he went so natural that there are lots of pictures of people off in thought... some of the ones friends took are better to be honest... although there are plenty of nice ones...- I shouldnt complain... I checked the shot list we submitted and 20% of the ones we requested he didnt do... kind of stimeyed, what to do??

He also said the ttd ones didnt turn out and has not returned 2 emails now for creating the book- which is in the contract.

Frustrated also because we hired a photog for 3 hours are our AHR and they have not arrived- the said she sent them 3 weeks ago?? Also not returning emails.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrg!! voodoo.gif (that smiley is funny)

Here are the pictures: what do you guys think?

Kristy, ... how is your planning going?? Re pictures, make sure your shot list is comprehensive and maybe take a copy of it and review it on the day? Allow plenty of time for pictures (we ran out of sun)... You wouldn't think you would have to ask a photog to take pictures of guests posed smiling but I guess you do. (thats my unsolicited advise :)

So does anyone think they are preggo yet? This is the first month that we hit the date on the head, I am looking forward to seeing if it could be... Austin started talking about baby names last night and that makes me excited to know he is thinking about it. I am 36 so my little eggs have walkers to head down the ole fallopian tube.. I am kind of expecting to go to a fertility dr... Do you guys think it is ok to drink margaritas in moderation while trying? I mean many a pregnancy has occurred during a booze up, right?

Hope all are well hug2.gif

Alison I  you. You crack me up! I am 35 and my eggs have walkers too! LOL The good thing about being old is we don't have to wait a year to see a doctor about fertility. We only have to give it 6 months before they start making tests.

We really timed it well this month so we will see. I think even my husband is slightly excited as well. He said he is freaked out though because our lives will change so much. My first interpretation of his comment was he's thinking no more poker nights, friends over etc... which I don't think has to change so much. Especially with the first kid. Plus our friends love kids and are dying to start families of their own so I don't think things will be too different. But what he meant was how we'd be responsible for another life, raising them to be decent human beings, teaching them things, being a role model... etc... I had never really thought about that before and I thought it was so cute that he did. So yeah, things will definitely change. lol

What do you mean your TTD pics didn't turn outhuh.gif Hmmm, well my contract says 6 weeks and 6 weeks will be this Thurs. I might have a link to my online slide show but I definitely won't have my actual DVD within that 6 week time frame. I am a little annoyed. They are digital images. What takes 6 weeks? Plus I stalked him on Facebook and he is on vacation in Europe. grrrr

I am going to go look at that link now Alison!

Oh Allie
I love your pics... I have goose bumps looking at them.... You looked amazing!!!! Re: the preggo and a few drinks.. I think from what we know of you, you'd do anything like drinking in moderation... I wouldn't worry about a few cocktails to set the mood.... Also to live your life and not put that stress on yourself..... I think you'll know pretty soon if you have concieved.

Good Luck Ladies.....smile02.gif damn cute
I am waiting!!!

Alison- awesome pictures!! You have some real god ones there! I personally like the natural look rather than all posed but that's a personal choice. You shouldn't be disappointed. You had a gorgeous sunny day (totally envious) and some really incredible photos. At the end of the day we all really only need that one special one, and IMO it's the one of you and Austin on the beach at sunset where he's lifted you in the air. Gorgeous. I would die to have a picture like that of me and Eric.

Beautiful pictures Allison!! I got my photos just over 4 weeks - although it helps that it was a good friend of mine that did them. I haven't posted any on here yet, but I have a bunch on facebook. None of your TTD turned out? That seems really weird to me!!

We have our AHR coming up soon (Apr 17) and I'm so excited. It's going to be such a non-reception. We have prizes, we're thinking of doing the ice cream thing and we're going to have a dance competition. I keep referring to it as "the party".

As for the baby thing...we just started trying this month. The sad thing is - I'm going to be in Florida during when I should get my period so if I don't...he'll be so far away. We were going to try on our honeymoon but I got a little scared. I've always wanted kids, but when it came down to it I freaked out a bit at the fact that we would be responsible for this new little helpless life.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
