Hi Krista!!!!! I am sending hugs your way! We are all still very excited for you! You are going to be a gorgeous bride. I was stalking you via Facebook the other day looking at all your travel pics. You've had quite the adventerous life. Very cool.

That's too bad the July brides aren't sharing. We are a special group here if I do say so myself. Feel free to shoot ideas off of us. None of us got married at Dreams Tulum, so we can't help you with the details there, but we can certainly be there for you for all the other stuff. I am lurking here all day on and off while at work ( no access to Facebook here though ), so if ever you need some suggestions, fire away. I am here! lol I sound like a total loser with no life. Au contrair (sp?) *I have super spelling issues...

My photos are supposed to be ready by the end of this week. Is that tomorrow? or Sunday? In any respect... I have sort of given up. I know they are coming, it's not a question of trust... but I feel like I have been waiting so long it will never happen. I hope getting them won't be anti-climactic.

Who in your group has still not yet booked? Important people like your parents and bridal party? If not... don't sweat it. People are notoriously last minute. If they miss out that sux for you, but even more so for them. Don't take the weight of the world on your shoulders. As long as the VIP's have booked, everyone else is simply a bonus. xo

Thanks Christina! I know you guys are here for me! You are awesome!! :) The most important people have booked (mothers and bridal party), and actually one of our good friends just called to let me know that him and his wife are just waiting for their confirmation, but they have booked as well! YAY!! There are some other important people I would like to book though, like my aunts and my cousin (who is like a sister to me because we grew up in the same city together), but they haven't fully committed to booking yet. I guess if they can't come, there's not really any point in worrying. I think at this point, I just want to know who is coming for sure or not, so that I can start planning more stuff. I can't do OOT bags or decos or even pick my wedding package until I know how many peeps are booking for sure. Well, I'm not going to worry about it right now. If they still haven't booked by end of April though I might freak out a little! LOL!

I'm excited to see your pics too!! Hopefully end of this week means Friday, but if not you'll have them by Sunday, right? :) I saw some of your nonprofessional ones on FB and they are beautiful! You remind me of someone, or look like some celebrity, but I can't quite put my finger on it....mmm...I'll have to think about it and figure it out!

And the stalking thing...that's funny! I stalk people all the day long on facebook. I don't really think of it as stalking as more exploring who they are and their life! LOL! I love looking at pictures of other people and their lives and imagining what it's like. I have friends that I met who live in England, and it's really cool to see the places they visit, live, drive, etc. I think I have this fairytale vision of what it would be like to live there and they probably think the same way about me here (ok maybe not when it's -50 in saskatchewan winter lol)....

anyway, yeah, I've been a few places. I lived in South Korea for 3 years, so that helped, I got to travel to Japan, Bali, Singapore, and Thailand. I'm excited to go to Mexico to add it to my list of travels. I can't wait to visit Europe someday! Maybe after my masters, but I don't want to put off having babies for too long. :) We'll see what happens!

I'm sorry to hear that the July brides aren't as fun as the Feb brides...they do have a lot to live up to :P

As for the people who haven't booked...you may be disappointed that they're not there, but the day you get married you won't even notice and nothing will matter except that you two are getting married. I am such an anal planner and the day of I didn't care what happened...it was really weird, but really refreshing.

Let's pump some life into those July brides. What is their problem!?!? Geez, girls we set the bar so high, no group will ever compare, shame on us! We are here for you and hopefully, a few of us will BE THERE for your wedding day. I know I have been consumed with all things wedding for so long, I let the rest of my life turn to crap so I am still trying to get my business back on track, look for a bigger place, thinking of getting the kid a dog, contemplating making a baby (shame on you guys! its all your fault! all this basal temp., best time to do it, best positions..ok, maybe not positions, but all of your baby talk has me thinking that it is about the time to procreate!), thinking of honeymoon destinations, AHR....the list goes on and on of things that consume my time. All that aside, please understand that I am here if you need ANYTHING just send a smoke signal, email, text, FB message anything and I am there with advice, a cyberhug or a listening ear.. I have your back girlie :))))))))))))

Awwww!!! Thanks Timberly!!! You guys really are the best! Maybe there is some correlation between people who get married in February and personality?? LOL!! There's the psychologist in me coming out. :) I had actually been considering February originally but with both of us being students and having only about one week free in February - it had to be July.

This weekend is going to be nice! FI and I are going up to Saskatoon (city about 2.5 hours away) to stay with friends and see a Tim McGraw/Lady Antebellum concert on Sunday night! I'm so excited! Hopefully I will come back refreshed and relaxed! Have a great weekend ladies!!

No problem Krista :) lol @ correlation comment. Yes, I hope to be refreshed also, we leave for California on Sunday and won't be back in NY until next Sunday. I am sooo looking forward to the getaway. I am going to act like a big kid at Disneyland. After Disney, we will head to a vineyard/spa to relax and get DRUNK :). I can't wait!!!!!! I hope you have a great weekend too!

Love you girlies.

Thanks babe... wait still not teasers?!? Did you email and ask for a few teasers? Tell them that you would like to use one of the shots for your thank you cards and that you would really appreciate it if they sent you a few. Hope that works. I still don't have our DVDs and besides the slideshow she sent, I have no idea what the majority of our pics look like. The waiting SUCKS. I definitely feel your pain. Makes you want to see the photog in a dark alley and ..smile67.gif yell GIVE ME MY PICS!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
