Chris: Congratulations!!! Can't wait to see pictures when you you get back.

I've been doing last minute cramming so haven't checked in too often, but getting SUPER EXCITED!!!

I don't know if I mentioned it, but I am also in the process of buying a dental practice so my stress have been off the charts! I have to have all of the business details taken care of before Mexico because the Monday after I return it's mine!! I pretty much completed everything, but one major thing....the lease!! The landlord wasn't returning any of our phone calls about assigning the lease to me. Finally, he got back to the selling doctor and told him that he was concerned about my age!! HELLO, I need a space to practice in and it's not like I just graduated yesterday...it's been 4 years!!!! He told the selling doctor that he will only do it if he stays on the remaining lease until his original term is over. Which is crazy and he was mad, but agreed to do it thank goodness!!!

So now I'm back to wedding details!

Hey Ladies, just checking in.... Congrats, Chris on having a fun time and being married :) Congrats Tricia on getting your own practice, yea!

You ladies need your sleep! One of my GFs suggested to me that I take a Tylenol PM (sleep aide) the night before the wedding and I tried really hard to go to be early (and even then it was like midnight) and I took 1 (nervous bc I am not very sleep aide experienced) and it did help because I slept so maybe you guys should consider taking some with you just in case you cant sleep the night beforehuh.gif

We had our AHR this weekend... it was fun (actually more stressful than the DW in somw ways because we handled the details instead of the resort)... Jamaica was more fun tho- wedding parties are over- now on to planning a honeymoon (luna de miel for you folks headed to Mexico)... are any of you honemooning separately from your DW?

We loved Dreams Cabo so much that we want to visit all of the Dreams resorts so that we can compare lol. We are looking to go to the one in DR very soon, without the kid! Since we had such an awful travel experience, we are looking forward to getting away. So yes to separate honeymoons..a few of them! :)

We are actually hoping to be pregant within 4 or 5 months so no honeymoon time!

Tricia- Glad that the practice worked out and only 1 more sleep for you!!

I had serious family drama go on last night, but by this afternoon it will all work itself out I am sure-- STILL 4 days later after 2 emails haven't heard from my wedding coordinator. I am not a happy camper with them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
