It's friday the big group is coming to today... We had an amazing first couple of days... Hey!!!! Champagne for breakfast... Hell Yeah!!!! My brother is over the top with excitement.....

I should run here... and go soak up some sun

Yayyyy Susie!

 

How's the weather!?!?!?!?!?

 

I'm up early on a SATURDAY because I had a terrible nightmare that my groom's front tooth fell out. He went to get it fixed and when I turned around to look at him, he was my ex ex boyfriend!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Wake up - Wake up ERICA!!!! So I woke up and snuggled with my real groom. Phewww... scary shit! LOL

 

I already had my "bachelorette" party a month ago. Had 14 girls show up and had 16 shots, 2 beers and many mixed drinks. Someone was watching out for me because I did not get sick! I finished my scavenger hunt and had such a great time! We hit Taco Bell at 2am and luckily my sweet pregnant friend drove us around. She was a trooper!

 

Well, it's Saturday morning and I have to work today! Aughhh!!!

I bought apple red and deep chocolate sand (wedding colors) and will use some sand from the beach for the base.

Susie- so happy you checked in, Im sure we were all wondering how you were enjoying yourself :)...

 

We are getting ready here... grandparents are now in town and coming for dinner tomorrow night. Both of us have a truck load of work to do before leaving Thursday morning. Both very excited. Last dress alterations Monday, (hair) cut and color Wednesday. Booked a massage for Thursday AM but not sure if Ive time to get it done...

 

Raykel, SOOOOOOOOOOO happy your dress made it.

 

Shelk- a few morning cocktails in the airport and youll be right as rain! :) What airport do you leave from?

 

Timberly, Id kill my bridal party if they were messing around this close to the day...

 

Sorry not many posts again these past few days, the website is not faring well... not long now!

Erica: Holy cow that's a lot of booze!!

 

Timberly: I think your vases are really nice! I love the etching too. It's hard to tell size in the picture, I know you said you were worried about that. My vases aren't very big. My main one is only 10 inches and the side ones are smaller than that.

 

Here are the pictures from my first fitting! It went really good. They don't have to do any major alterations just a few things that I wanted different. I also ordered my jewelry and veil today as well. The jewelry is shown (except I'm not going to wear a necklace) and I ended up going with a finger tip veil instead of a cathedral length and I think it looks really nice!

I have brand new drama!! my back up hair stylist got into a fight with his boyfriend and now they are not coming..my first choice STILL doesnt have her passport sad.gif stresssssss. I hate to say it, but not every stylist can do african american/black women's hair. I don't want to look crazy on my wedding day sad.gif((((((((

 

Tricia!! I love the dress on you... you go girlie. Unfortunately the middle vase is only 5 inches tall!!! the side vases are 8 inches tall I would use a small clear funnel to pour the sand in. That is if I decide to use this one. I am going out this weekend, I will look for a different center vase. Hope it goes well.

 

I have such a headache from crying..been a little sappy ever since he called and said he wasn't coming. I leave in less than 2 weeks and no hair clues sad.gif.. I have held it together until now...sob* sob*

Timberly! I feel bad for you! Don't cry - it will all work out and you will be your beautiful gorgeous self! I really like your sand set. I understand the concern with the pouring....if you find something you like better that will be good, but the one you have is really nice.

Krista B it sounds like you and mom are set up for a great weekend! Have fun dress shopping.

 

Teshy- don't worry about your dress...I think what went on with mine was an anomoly, not the norm. Plus they fixed it. It will all go good. I don't think that is proper English at all, but whatever!

Susie - yippeee for champagne! I am so glad you got there alright - created a little drama and now have a great story to tell about the airport! I am glad to hear things are good with Jazmin too! Have fun lady!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
