So much energy on the site!

 

Brooke, I love your vases, we still haven't even thought about ours, uugh, I will get to that.

 

Timberley, I can only imagine how irritated you are, I would be livid!

 

Allison, I could see the three photos, they are awesome! I think they turned out great!

 

 

Sofiya (is your name Chris and I missed something?) I totally understand the family being away, all my family and best girlfriends are in California and I am in NY. My sister and best friend and mom talk all the time about wedding, but it isn't the same. I have FMIL to go to dress fittings, but I wish it was my girls...I totally understand, but I am happy to support you, if I lived closer I would've happily scheduled to go with you! Keep posting pics so we can all fawn over dresses I love the pics, I will for sure post next time I put mine on!

 

I mention the energy, because I am feeling crazy lately. I am so overwhelmed with emotions. I am feeling like last minute tasks are huge, and I am starting to stress about 50 family and friends all at one place! It is to the point that I am not being super nice or talking much to the FI, but I know it isn't fair. I am upset with him because I kept asking him questions as far as flutes, cake cutters, sand vases, groomsmen attire, and wedding gifts for groomsmen and parents and never received feedback-so I let him figure it out on his own time. NOW, he wants to think about it, and he doesn't get it when it comes to ordering and shipping. I just feel frustrated and overwhelmed, and like you sofiya, wish I had my sis, mom or BF here to have a glass of wine with. (Which by the way, I have gone 24 of the last 26 days sans alcohol, quite a feat for a New Yorker , proud of myself, but now thinking I may need a glass of wine here or there as the wedding nears...uuughh, now I have a lump in my throat and want to cry. But, at work, and have to get back.

BBM! New initials if they are not there for Bad Bride's Maid! Seriously Timberly I am so sorry oe of your friends is letting you down this way. She should hae told you she was having problems, not taken your money and paid bills.

 

I ate at McD's, but it was an apple juice and an english muffin with a small piece of ham (okay and some cheese!) but that was all! That is not so bad...not like a QP with cheese, large fries and a swimming pool size drink! LOL

 

FMG the photo links worked for me - you look awesome! The one with the sports jersey...you look like a pinup:) FI is going to thank you for that one! You should put that one on a tshirt for him I did that with an old picture of mine that unless people look won't even realize is me - and since they aren't expecting him to have a tshirt on of you.....

 

Off to get my hair done and work on some other things on the to do list. Sofiya I understand wanting someone to go with you.....thank Gosh my mom and MOH were with me last week! My mom is missing a meeting to come with me tomorrow to see what they have done so I don't have to go alone. I know I can handle it, but a little support will be nice.

I hear you Chris... Up until my brother booked it was only my coming from my family... Well with that said I don't remember inviting too many more members... I knew my aunts and uncles wouldn't come they have never left Newfoundland. My pop is 94 and not able to travel. Oh well I have good friends that will be there. Don't freak my lady... Your day will be here soon and you'll be the," bell of the ball".

 

I agree Breens... the energy is totally amazing and you can feel in everyones post... The countdown is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Raykel I did my planning post about 3 this morning lol... I think if you do a search with my online name SusieQ you'll find it. It was rushed... I actually did the post 5 times and lost it with time outs.

Tricia- I brought my sand ceremony items to the mall to a things remembered. they will engrave anything for you and it was done in 2 days!!

Chris- Sorry that you are bumming about your dress and going to get it today. Thats never a fun feeling, but I am sure that people are thinking wow we are going to mexico soon for their wedding!!

 

Breens- Agreed Love the energy as we all get closer and closer!

 

Shells- Don't you wish the would make 27 hrs in the day so you could do everything you want and need to do!

Ladies its my final fitting day, I am off to go and tan, mer is coming over to do my hair, i'm doing my makeup and then its off to see the final product. I am sooooo excited!

Chris - Totally know how you feel about people not seeming interested/excited about wedding stuff. I feel like when I get really excited about something, and I try to share, nobody else shares my excitement, which puts a damper on my party....boo.... But then I come on here and things are awesome!

 

Brooke your stuff looks great! I really like your vases and your oot bags! Those OOT bags have great/practical things in them that your guests will surely use! Great work!

 

Timberly I can't believe your BBM did that!! AWFUL! What is with some people? Don't they realize how important this time is? My FI's first choice for Best man said yes, then backed out cause he "couldn't get the time off work", then his second choice said hell ya, then backed out cause he was only planning on spending $1200, not $2000 on a vacation....brutal....and he makes like 10 grand a month. All that on top of FI's dad not coming just puts a big damper on FI's mood... I felt bad being all excited about booking our trip (I was pretty much jumping off the walls) when FI was all sad because his second choice for Best man said he couldn't make it.... ugh....

alison,thankyou for doing the list i just wanted to keep track on who got married when.i cant see the pics from your bd shoot?im giving mine on the morning of the wedding but i have put to my husband jon even tho we wont be then.i had the same conv with myself.

im glad you guys are having the same trouble with family not being excited i thought it was just mine.it did make me angry up until last week but now i dont talk about it.we,ll see who feels guilty when im gone next weekend.

 

been to get jons sunglasses and the last few medical things i.e hangover cures tonight thats it all ready for my suitcase at the weekend.

 

everyone sounds really fired up now.
