Hello ladies/lovelies

Well my DH is off the hook..he had such a negative reaction to the engraving because he didnt know that I was just JOKING when I said I was engraving it "put it back on" a while back. He mentioned that that was embarrassing and he didn't want to have to see that on his ring for the rest of his life.. well when he saw that it said "my sunshine 2.14.10" he really felt like an Ahole. (History...there is a song by Babyface called Sunshine 'Sunshine..you brighten my life, Sunshine you make me feel alright, sunshine you turn my darkness to light, you brighten up the colors of my life') Vday is singing in her head and swaying from side to side :) that is my "feel good song" when he calls my phone, I sing it to him sometimes.. he EATS it up.. anywho...He apologized so much and felt awful for reacting the way he did. I was calm and collected then milked the fact that he could have eaten out of my hand at that point and said "well you really hurt my feelings..blah blah blah" lol. Great make up session wink.gif sorry TMI

I am on facebook too... Timberlywannamaker@hotmail.com I know, I know..long name.. but I changed it recently remember :)smile29.gifbunny_4.gifsmile72.gif

I had what was supposed to be my final fitting today....well that didn't go so well.. they had to take it out and inch off of each side.. they took it in so much the last time that it made an awful bunching in the front..like I had a winky there sad.gif so she is still in the store until Friday. I told them that I would workout like a mad woman to loose 2 inches.. as soon as I said that I thought about the box of donuts that was sitting on my fridge waiting for me and told her to go ahead and let it out LMAO. It was too tight at the hip areai (hips run in the family) but the boobies looked GOOOOD :) smile78.gif Also, I have flats for the ceremony and heels for the reception, so the dress is a bit long for me to walk down the aisle.. I don't know how I feel about this.. I rationalized that I will spend hours in the heels so the dress should be hemmed for that time..

Hope all is well in your worlds...smile03.gif

Yay just a few more sleeps Susie!!!!!

Hi Shells

Yeah the pictures are on facebook to prove it... I was pretty blasted... I had two big glasses of wine on an empty stomach and I was loopy....I am going back to bed in a bit. I am very tired even if my head wants to stay awake...

I am glad you girls are picking up your dresses.... I hope nothing goes wrong again for either of you... Your man that sucks when they screw up.

Oh My list is done... I am ready to go....

My brother was here last night and he is like a giddy 13 year old girl... He is so excited.. he has never been anywhere. He went to Wal-mart yesterday and bought shorts, sandals and tshirts, too funny... He lives in black jean and a black shirt. He comes in the house with the big Walmart bag... Mark and I are on the floor killing ourselves laughing. Mark whispers to me "looking foward to seeing your brother trying to walk in flip flops with his tub socks on".

Happy Sunday ladies

Raykel: I am the list queen too so don't feel bad. It makes me feel better to know that I know exactly what needs to be done and then what an accomplishment to cross something off!! DH (I guess you're right I can call him that now!!) doesn't know about the BD shoot. And I feel horrible about lying, but it's a gift for him so I guess that justifies it?!? :) I'm excited for the shoot. He had to work Friday night so I tried on all of my outfits and packed my bags and put them in the trunk of my car. It totally looks like a strippers bag!! Stilettos and lingerie!! I don't know what he would think if he stumbled upon that considering he doesn't even know what BD pics are. Haha.

Timberly: So glad Chris liked his ring!! I was thinking maybe when he saw it his feelings would change. I think it was a wonderful idea. Sorry to hear about your dress, but you're right, you don't want to be worrying the whole time you're down there about fitting into it so it's better just to have them make it right!

Susie: What great friends you have! And 18 bottles of wine?!? Holy cow. Sounds like you got some great gifts and had a good time!

Krista: Congrats on booking your trip! Isn't it a huge relief to have that taken care of?!?

Brooke: Glad you got your computer fixed! Ours crashed last summer and I was soooo worried that they weren't going to be able to recover anything on there. We've since learned and now have a back up. Luckily some computer tech guys recovered everything so we were thankful for that. I also have a FB so I'll look you girls up! Also, I received your package...thank you!!!! The key chains are great and I love the sun glasses. They'll match my white bikini. :)

Shell: Congrats on getting your dress!!! Have we seen it yet? I don't think I remember seeing it. If not, post some pics!

Our legal day was great and low key. I was so worried it would take away from our actual wedding day, but it didn't. The minister made it short and sweet. It only lasted about 5 minutes and was kinda cool because you guys are right it's kind of our little secret. Only one of my friends and my dad knew. My dad sent me a text right afterward that said "I feel like partying" HAaha. I told him he has to wait until Cancun.

Have a great day ladies!

WOW! You ladies are hard to keep up with :)

Raykel-glad to hear you are keeping your spirits up regarding your dress, I am sending positive vibes your way!

Susie-yeah on the party, so fun! And I am soooo excited for you that it is sooo soon! Sorry to hear about the post, that has happened to me...

Krista-yeah. I was also a little concerned when you said you just booked, but then I looked and saw your wedding date! Congrats!

Brooke-that dress made me crack up and think "guess she's not getting married in a church!" But it truly made me laugh so hard! And your impression of the Cabo side of mexico "wink"

Tricia-congrats on your legal day, and hope you have a great time on you BD shoot.

Timberley- so glad things worked out with the ring! And good luck with the finishing pieces and details shopping!

Speaking of nightime dresses for the evenings there in mexico, I am not sure if you are all near Macy's or not, but they keep having sales that are unbelievable. I found two beautiful cocktail dresses $200-$300 marked down to $45 and $50...keeps seeing great deals in the store, this is the Macy's in herald square NYC, just a thought when looking for some fun swimwear or evening dresses for the discoteca's :)

I am just so excited for everyone! This forum really lifts me up when I begin to feel a bit stressed!

Hi Ladies!

Timberly- So glad that Chris realized that the ring was special and meaningful after all! hahaha... i would have loved to be a fly on the wall to see his reaction when he realized it! Avoid the Donuts-- I informed on of my bridesmaids that she is NOT allowed to bring any dessert to my house on Fri when she comes for my bachorette party.

Breens- Great Deal on the Dresses!

Susie- How are we going to live without you for your week while you get married? Congrats!

Shells-Can you come and clean my house for me too? I worked on it yesterday and got as far at the kitchen! lol

Tricia- So glad that you got the package ok- I ordered 72 pairs of sunglasses for our guests and saw those and said "Great bridal bikini glasses!!" So of course you needed a pair! I will shoot you an email with the hair pics today. Have a great shoot!

Ugg not feeling so well today - that's what I get for not eating dinner!! I should know better by now, but I had a great time!! We played one game where you had to carve a penis out of a cucumber and boy do I suck at that - I just ate it instead ha ha ha. Pics are up on facebook (krisheer@hotmail.com) if you want to add me. We all went bowling first and then split up after to do separate girl/guy things.

Oh the best part...our wedding party bought us a video camera to bring with us. Total shock (as you can tell by my face in the picture) ha ha ha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
