susie that does sound funny will look forward to a pic lol.you can hear the change of tone in your typing you sound relaxed man.i was just gonna ask if you were wearing rings?

 

teshy1,if it is a deep v im guessing you have thick shoulder straps so you wont be able to see any strap marks will you?you just need to make sure you wear a really low bikini.

 

we bin and collected our tickets today and done some more shopping for fi.we just need trainers and sunglasses.i didnt think i had anything except for a few bits i have been buying of ebay so this morning we both had a fashion show.omg i have got soo much.i need my case out the loft im ready.this time in 3wks we will be there.

 

erica,we dont land until 2.30pm.

So it's been a very LONG week and I really don't feel like doing this wedding thing any more. We found out not that long ago that my grandma is really sick (bone cancer everywhere). So this week I get an email from my mom (who just went to FL for 3 months) that my aunt is not coming on the trip any more. She was rooming with my sister. My sister is a nurse and apparently said things that my aunt was not ready to hear so they fought and apparently my grandma could hear them and was really upset by it. I know I know I cannot let it affect me, but it does. I am not upset that my aunt isn't coming...I just hate fighting and it always affects me. Now I feel like it's going to be awkward to go over and see my grandma because my aunt will be there (she apparently is taking time off work) and I don't want to hear how sorry she is that she's not coming (which she hasn't told me btw). I was talking with my mom because I had my dress fitting on thursday and she sounded so happy and asked how it was. I said meh it was alright....I feel like a huge black cloud is over my head and it is SO not fair to my FI, but I don't know what to do. He came down stairs today and I was sitting here crying. He asked what was wrong...I said I don't know. He said well something must have happened, but nothing did. Ugg it has to get better than this!! Thank you girls for listening today and all the other posts I have written. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this tread (sorry for being so sappy).Click the image to open in full size.

 

Here is a pic of my fitting (if it works right). Please ignore the fat arms ha ha Oh and another thing...I forgot my shoes so I have to go back again on Thurs. I was going to post more, but my friend sucks at warning me she's taking them and I have this weird look on my face in most of them. haha

Krista H -- so sorry to hear about your grandma and everything your family is going through. I understand why you're feeling the way you are. When your wedding day arrives, I'm sure you will very happy and so thrilled to be marrying your love. By the way, your dress is beautiful!

 

We confirmed our legal day -- this Wednesday, Jan. 20. It also happens to be my FI's brother and sister's (they are twins) birthday. We are having the paper signing at my FI's parents' house, then we will all go out for dinner to celebrate all the January birthdays (FI, FI's father, FSIL & FBIL). Nice!

Krista- So sorry to hear about your grandmother, I think that them fighting is not going to do any good for her and may even stress her out more. I hope that you are able to look past it and remember that you are going to be looking into the man you loves eyes and at that very moment when you say "I do"-- it won't matter who else is there besides you two!! I love the corest back to your dress and the bead work!!

 

Teshy-- Congrats on your legal day coming up soon!

 

Shells- We ordered 72 pairs of sunglasses for our guests at our wedding!! Need an extra pair or 4huh.gif

 

On a side note-- Our company is matching donations to the red cross for haiti help and even though I feel strapped for cash with the wedding, I dug into my pockets and donated. I realized that many of those people will never get an expensive wedding at a resort in Cancun, many of them will never even get running water. It felt really good to give to someone else today!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
